21/10/2014 14:27 | It may well be buffy, that Malcy hasn't posted anything yet because his interview was very positive indeed. He may devote most of a blog to it, hence the delay, but the buying today so far has been encouraging. | ![]() professor pettigrew
21/10/2014 14:06 | Blockbusting news not far away in my view. Let's hope it comes before Malcy puts pen to paper. :^} Buffy | ![]() buffythebuffoon

20/10/2014 08:15 | Yes, very valid points Andy. I agree re the point with initial flow rates, but more and more wells are coming on stream, and in most cases we seem to be exceeding expectations, so I think on balance they even each other out. My personal view is that the current malaise in oil prices is temporary. Unfortunately, winter is upon us soon and that will result in a natural uplift in prices anyway. There is still a (slight) geo-political risk with Russia and Ukraine re gas and we only have to have a colder than average winter in the northern hemisphere for oil to bounce back. I agree though, things are quite volatile, but on balance NTOG is nicely placed to profit. I'm hoping we have concrete details of the WB project next month. | ![]() professor pettigrew
20/10/2014 08:10 | Professor Pettigrew 17 Oct'14 - 10:04 - 2826 of 2852 0 0 The maths here are compelling. Our original target was 150bpd, we have now exceeded that in case anyone didn't notice by 30, so we are producing circa 180 barrels per day ---- What has happened to the oil price since the "original target"? And you have to take into account the decline curve on some of these wells, the actual production figures are what I look at, rather than initial flow rates which can decline quite quickly in some cases. | ![]() andy
