Sells now going through as buys. I was quoted 0.695p for £380 worth. Therefore I know them 0.695p trades are buys.

Well IG share deal was supposed to of bought me shares not bloody well sold them.
Todays news is bad news for me, since I wanted to correct my trade in order to increase my holding.

I apologise I just done a quote, and my trade only offering the sell quote.
Does this mean I actually own them and I should be just as excited as all of you are :).
Anyway I will find out if my balance goes up and not down on when the bid rises.

All is fine and I am £9 in profit on my share deal, and my spread bet doing well :).

Stupid IG putting my order as a sell direction instead of a buy one.
Now look they are loosing me money, instead of making me money.
Maybe best to wait to the price drops back or just close out first thing, and thats if they even bother to execute the trade. As on Friday they just ignored my trade until filling it in the wrong direction after the close.

Thank goodness I hold 3 times more on the spread bet.

I keep on because I getting an inheritance before the end of this year, and I can see myself shorting at least 20 different company's. I been wondering how to do this for years. I will be sorting out my position in ntog on Monday, and adding a few extra to make up for my mistake. Obviously long and strong here for the long term.

Why is it that when I asked how do I short a share on ADVFN that no one will help. They may say use spread ex or phone ig to do so by a cfd. Another thing is investors pretend that a share can not be shorted. While I just learnt thanks to a mistake, that any share can be shorted via ig share deal. Nearly every one I wanted to short would of made me money in the past.

I just checked the trade details. It saids direction is a sell. How is the even possible to short a stock on a share deal account. I meant to buy it not short it. However maybe a useful loss just so I can look into shorting other stocks.

IG now says I have a position of 91,000 shares.
IG share deal does not publish the trades, and they take over 3 hours to fill your orders. Very poor service. However does not matter for when it comes to selling. As I am in for the long term. As well as my spread bet.
Strange how their service for spread bets and cfds has been outstanding compared to spread ex.
