WTI Crude now over $122 per barrel.Extra revenues for NTOG, who are selling oil unhedged, so quickly benefit from the rising price.

idrivea2007jag,

pumping ntog all over the site won’t get people to buy so you can exit at a higher price.

Just saying like.

As you say the key thing is that we have not hedged the price of oil so as prices rise we will immediately get the benefit which is probably not the same with some other oil companies.

WTI Crude now $125 per barrel, which is78% up on their average $70 per barrel Q4 2021 sale price. NTOG will be raking in the extra revenues.

I reckon about $1m/quarter at current run rate. How much will the new well bring?

NTOG were recently selling oil at:

Q4 2021 average $70 per barrel = $767k revenue to NTOG
Q3 2021 average $63 per barrel = $558k revenue to NTOG

Today the WTI Crude price is over $115 per barrel and rising (+64% on the average Q4 2021 $70 price) implying Q1 2022 $1,250k revenue to NTOG, just on current production even without more wells this year. They aren't hedging, so now benefit from selling at the prevailing higher prices and are looking to increase production via the one well just drilled and about to go into production (32.5% working interest) and another three this year in which they expect to have a much higher working interest (90%+) and thus higher proportion of the revenues.

NTOG, 23/2/2022:

"Revenue and production increased significantly in the fourth quarter and the Company has also made a great start on executing its plans for 2022 during the early part of Q1 2022.

In East Texas drilling is underway at Pine Mills concurrent with work to expand and improve the infrastructure. While in West Texas planning is underway for our big push to increase production through a similar development drilling program there. Finally, the recent increase in commodity prices has confirmed our bullish price expectations and as a result we remain unhedged, selling production at market rates. I am anticipating a very active and profitable 2022 for NTOG and look forward to reporting on our progress in subsequent periods."

NTOG, 5/1/2022

"The Company is planning the drilling of 3 to 4 new wells in Texas. The necessary capital expenditure will be funded from existing cash resources, facilities and cash generated from Nostra Terra's oil producing portfolio and it is expected that production from these additional wells will grow free cashflow significantly. The wells are within the Company's existing areas of operation, thus minimising drilling risk and utilising synergies which will enable lower operating costs post-drilling and completion."

WTI Crude price now risen to $112/barrel and NTOG don't hedge their sales, so quickly benefit from the increased prices. Should be profitable on a day-by-day basis.

Citychappy- if those figures are approx right the company does look very much undervalued. I'm guessing unless Putin presses the n button (in which it's goodbye everybody)oil prices look likely to be this high if not higher for quite sometime even after hopefully it ends.

Indeed, the squabble over control of the company caused damage to the market cap due to the shares issued doubling. It also took a lot of time and focus away from the drill and exploration program as did the pandemic.

You'll recall negative oil prices two years ago for instance.

As with many junior oil and gas plays the share price was hammered for these reasons and it has taken a good time to start to get back on track but the latest drills and results are encouraging. Matt has a good team and they have a high strike rate of hitting pay dirt.

If the break even is as low as $30 a barrel, I think $40 over the entire estate is a better calculation, then at $110 and rising the cash flow is indeed brilliant for investors who have little concern that more placings are going to pay for the expansion plans.

The way Putin is carrying on, the likelihood is shale producers are going to be ramping up still more in the weeks/months ahead. This should be reflected in NTOG's share price and I expect to see 1p by the summer, and probably more. The assets are already worth that imho...

Reading recent rns's they also appear to stress that future expansions will come from existing cash flow rather than dilution which if that's the case is what we want to hear.

NTOG set to go a lot higher. They must be getting over £1m per qtr now from the Permean on current oil prices and still have three more value accretive drills to come this year, plus Tunisia.

Thanks for the feedback.

That's interesting.

With high oil prices this company imo looks set to obviously profit and also the recent RNS is an added bonus.

There is plenty to discuss historically here Monis, and many have views about Matt Lofgran the CEO which will be unpalatable to a new investor. So beware what you ask for!

However, whilst he is undoubtedly a slippery customer in many ways - show me an AIM chief that isn't - he does get results and talks up the prospects of his company as it happens, and that often leads to big gains when the oil price is strong, as you say.

Conversely, when the market is against oilers NTOG suffers and in-fighting in 2020 caused a big dent in market value. All seems to be better now and so I'm expecting another surge upwards. I am on record on looking at 2-3p because it was 5p with half the current amount of shares in issue.

It will move fast, so be nimble!

WTI crude now $110/barrel. NTOG will be raking in the revenues from existing production, are about to bring the new additional well just drilled into production and drill three more this year. NTOG is now a profitable company.NTOG 20x bagger this year imo.

These Pine Mill plays are excellent for NTOG. Who knows, maybe Cypress will want to drill even more this year.

Looks like a good play. NTOG finally set for a big turnaround. Doc Holliday gave an upbeat review to Alan Green last week about NTOG. Increased production heading into the end of last year, good drilling result announced today, three more drills to come this year, and higher oil prices and revenues, are obviously beneficial.
