19/5/2016 20:32 | The way things are looking Matt may not be employed by NTOG long enough to see the consolidation, I think his future will be working on a prison farm. | simon_64
19/5/2016 16:38 | Dabs, It's worth £1,700 ! | chinese investor
19/5/2016 14:35 | Thanks guys it's good advice it really is, but it's a hobby for me that has grown over the years, until I started putting in most of my savings, but it could have gone the other way and the share price went Stella...I only own 2 shares NTOG (2009) and PRS (2011) as it's known now.... What would be the chance Matt associated with both. With what I paid for them originally and averaged down from then to these levels, it's not worth selling. It would be just be my luck to sell then Boom, the consolidation share price rockets. So I'm in to the bitter end, as I managed to keep half my savings for a deposit for a house and the other half in NTOG.... With an avg of 0.657 holding 3.4m, you can clearly see that it's worth nothing, after consolidation I'll have 70,000 shares again not worth a great deal. No point in being bitter, just incredibly frustrated.Good luck with your future investments. | dabs1969
19/5/2016 13:49 | It may be worth selling even if the share parcel is less than dealing costs. A few quid to remove the NTOG ticker from your trading page stops it being a reminder of the bad trip. As such it will have certain psychological benefits if not financial. | bam bam rubble
19/5/2016 13:14 | dabs, Shame, if you could recover more than your dealing costs i would either select another stock, or treat myself to a decent meal rather than watch all the money drain away. Good luck to you. | andy
19/5/2016 12:07 | My holding is worth nothing... No point in selling, might as well stay until the end, just to turn the lights off!!! ? | dabs1969
19/5/2016 10:02 | Why? Topicel, Thanks to you too, always a pleasure to chat with good people. | andy
19/5/2016 09:16 | Must be worth a punt. | chinese investor
15/5/2016 22:15 | No....this will probably fall below 1p on reorganisation. Done nothing apart from burning up stacks of cash.....always the same story. Lots of "opportunities" which leads to more dilution and more losses. 99 per cent losses for PI's..... | barnetpeter
15/5/2016 10:34 | Another AIM company has ensured unrecoverable losses for LTHs. And the writing was on the wall once it became known he was working with Andrew Bell at RRR, another serial shafter par excellence... Having said that, new investors might feel like throwing the dice here once the consolidation is done as often there is a big mark up at the new valuation price. Good money after bad for me? Not likely! Thanks for all your comments over the years though Andy. Shame it went wrong. Topicel | topicel
14/5/2016 07:29 | Simon, How do you know ML leant out his personal shars, and if he did, to whom please? Even if he did I'm not sure he has broken any regulations, although clearly if they were used to pull the price dosn there would be a clear conflict of interest with his responsibilities to create shareholder value. Is there any definitive proof this actually hapenned? | andy
13/5/2016 08:15 | And he's always supported NTOG too! | andy
12/5/2016 22:48 | Tom W. [Shareprophets] not impressed at the news. | geoff80
12/5/2016 21:45 | whoppy, How can a debt financing be prevented by the par value? Or are you suggesting the debt would be convertible into equity? | andy
12/5/2016 15:58 | Last RNS said it would be debt funding after they did the recent placing at 0.1p. Can't get the debt financed unless they do a consolidation. Matt Lofgran, Chief Executive Officer of Nostra Terra, commented: "We're pleased to have been granted the extension by the seller as we continue to progress towards closing, where we anticipate that it will be financed with debt. We're also very pleased to welcome Kayne Anderson as our new largest shareholder and institutional investor." | whoppy
12/5/2016 15:20 | Obviously a placing is being planned to finance assets acquisition, whatever they are. | sleveen
12/5/2016 14:38 | NTOG recently issued over 282 million shares($370,000) at 0.1p as payment for the extension to 31st May to close on the acquisition of the Permian asset. Kayne Anderson Energy Fund were happy to be issued the shares with the cash amount $370,000 deducted off the final payment. The rest of the payment would have come from debt. Maybe this loan is not forthcoming hence the consolidation, and a fundraise to secure the Permian asset, or they were going to do the consolidation anyway as part of the Permian deal so they could get the loan to buy the asset. Doesn't necessarily mean they will do a fundraise if they meet requirements for the loan post consolidation. They might have their eye on other bigger assets and feel it's too good an opportunity to miss if they get a loan and do a fundraise at the same time, but can only do that by having a consolidation. Something is being lined up and this consolidation is not part of a survival strategy but a growth one. | whoppy
12/5/2016 14:38 | They've given up reporting USA numbers and the Chinese aren't playing ball with them in Egypt. A long way to go to recovery. | chinese investor
12/5/2016 14:36 | Ci, Not sure why not, they are doing the right thing, IMO. Sadly after a consolidation, a share price often heads south again, so that may be the fear. I would have gone for 100: 1 personally, try and get well away from the sub penny section of the market. | andy
12/5/2016 13:38 | Consolidation News Is Not Being Received Well ! | chinese investor
03/5/2016 11:18 | I agree /s Quite hard to get cash from a debt facility that seems to not want to issue any debt. | ukinvestor1
