22/12/2011 12:53 | parthus - 7 Nov'11 - 13:32 - 34288 of 34723 Less than a month ago someone tipped Tomco on here ..I think it was around a penny...and he got short shrift from bdog... now over 3p....it is unlikely that I will ever get to grips with the oil sector...!!! Maybe I SHOULD start drinking... bionicdog - 7 Nov'11 - 16:18 - 34289 of 34723 edit He got short shrift for spammming. He was not an NOP poster drawing attention to another company. There has been a load of it going on , not just on here , but many other threads and many aliases. Smells like a pump and dump to me. | bionicdog
22/12/2011 10:27 | Advfn-not updated,NOP is now trading over 80 and broken out of its recent trading range-someone please confirm | lammergeier
22/12/2011 09:37 | Derek has probably been given the job of writing the RNS. They are keeping him away from anything to do with the drilling so they gave him the job of RNS writing so he doesn't feel left out. They might have been better letting Bramhill have that job. He would have had it out before they hit oil saying it was the biggest find in the world ever. Not to suggest he is anything other than a fine upstanding gentleman of course. | sg31
22/12/2011 07:18 | I did say that they had finished drilling the sidetrack a couple of weeks back , now the rig has turned up somewhere else. | bionicdog

21/12/2011 19:52 | Anyway , what wine is everyone having with their xmas dinner? We will be having an Aussie sparkling pinot noir/ chardonnay to greet the guests , NZ Sauvignon blanc with starter , Aussie shiraz/ cab or chardonnay with main course , then it'll get a bit messy. On Boxing day it's a S.African chenin blanc or NZ pinot noir with cold lunch. | bionicdog
21/12/2011 15:45 | Seems like a waste of good vodka. Not that I am an expert on vodka. By the time you have paid for all the ingredients you could have bought 2 bottles of vodka. That seems much more sensible. | sg31

21/12/2011 13:37 | God I hate mulled anything. If it was nice you'd have it all year round like brandy butter and cranberry sauce. Come to think of it , how did American cranberries become a British tradition? | bionicdog
21/12/2011 10:24 | Yes. There are a lot of idiots about. Because Tullow is involved people think that they are safe. They forget that any value achieved following a sale will not go directly to shareholders, it will first pass through WSX. There are lots of reasons why it might never reach shareholders. That is not to say anything illegal might happen of course. I'm sure Mr Bramhill is a very upstanding non executive chairman or whatever. There is obviously nothing in his past that would suggest otherwise. All IMHO | sg31
21/12/2011 09:51 | sg31 They were successful in their recent placing,whatever is said.Can you explain that? | imperial3
21/12/2011 09:46 | How to make mulled cider When it comes to mulling cider, tradition is not always the best guide. John Wright tracks down a worthwhile winter warmer | maxk
21/12/2011 09:34 | WSX is being ramped same as everything involving Bramhill. It will end in tears...traders will make money, Bramhill will make money, everyone else will get taken to the cleaners. Anyone who loses money has been told often enough about the risks. | sg31
21/12/2011 08:48 | NOP M Cap £75 million WSX M Cap £36 million,currently approx.The latter in the main recognising Guyane inmho.NOP,nothing in the price,again inmho.Something wrong here? | imperial3
