You have to ask which company in their right mind would stump up over £100m for a clutch of assets they can do nothing with?

Why has Shell still not decided to drill?

It might help if the "market" actually knew what was going on with the various bits and bobs that have been accumilated.


But the management dont do news. We have to wait for assorted insiders to tell us what the co is doing and what it is worth.

Certainly as far as WSX is concerned the market has taken note,re Guyanne.For NOP,it might as well as not have happened.

So overall,if the market chooses to ignore,the assets here,what a prime opportunity there is now, for an opportunistic bidder to move in,and unlock the potential here.

Is there not a time limit for how long Northern hold the Italian Licences?
Does not seem to be a rush.
Also how do Northern manage to get so many Italian Licences? Is no one else bothered, probably due to the red tape?
