Board Appointment

The Directors of Niche (AIM: NGP), the investment company with interests in oil and gas exploration and development activities in onshore Turkey, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Stuart James Thomas as a non-Executive Director of the Company, with immediate effect.

Stuart (aged 51) is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Spring Capital Limited, an investment company specialising in the energy sector, where he has been instrumental in building the business into a profitable enterprise.

He has also held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Spring Seafoods Ltd, a diversified seafood production company. Prior to this appointment, Stuart was an oil and gas research analyst and holds a BSc. in Petroleum Geology from Imperial College, London. He is also an Associate of the Royal School of Mines.

Commenting on the appointment of Stuart, Nigel Little, Chairman of Niche, said:

Of this total, 7,232,857 Ordinary Shares are held personally and 22,619,046 Ordinary Shares are held by Spring Capital Ltd, a company of which Stuart is a director and a majority shareholder.
