Notification of transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities and persons closely associated

The Company announces that it was notified on 14 June 2019 of the following transactions by persons discharging managerial responsibilities.

David Lockhart, Executive Deputy Chairman, exercised subscription rights in relation to warrants over the ordinary shares of the Company, purchased additional shares in the Company and sold some shares to fund the exercise price of the warrants.

The transactions consisted of:

-- The exercise of 128,175 warrants over ordinary shares at a subscription price of 118p per share

-- 72,021 of the resultant shares were sold to fund the majority of exercise price, with 56,154 shares retained

   --      5,646 shares were purchased into David's ISA and pension 

As a result of the transactions, David has increased his shareholding in NewRiver to 1,855,000 ordinary shares.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market Abuse Regulation. The notification of dealing forms can be found below.
