With all the IPO s that are around you would need to have lots of cash!

Just a thought but the fall in commodity prices could well actually be good news for mining cash shells not yet invested. There should be some more sensibly priced pickings out there now for Nardina and St James (floats tomorrow, hurrah!!).

Yep, just heard Cornhill confirm the 19th..until its put back again..!!! Belitung still set for end of May though and looks like 50-100% uplift (according to Cornhill). GSL (oil pre-ipo) looks set for an Autumn/late summer float.

Just opened the post from the last day or 2, didnt realise i had a letter
from Voss and notice of the agm on 22nd May. I will give the main points of the letter from Gerard Nealon,chairman,as some of you may have nominee accounts
or something and not received it....


Dear shareholder,
Investment strategy(pursuant to rule15 aim rules)

Briefly it says, company is a shell at present, with no trading activities,
The board is actively seeking an aquisition, potential target would operate
outside UK, preferably an African Mining company.
The board has discounted a number of potential targets in the last 12 months
mainly because of lack of shareholder value.
The company has been advised it has 12 months from agm to succeed , failing
which trading will be suspended from AIM.
The board believes that they have the experience , together with contacts
within mining industry to aid in successful completion of a suitable
acquisition within the next 12 months. They are continuing the search and will
make annoncement when appropriate targe has been identified.
