07/11/2016 20:28 | AndyThanking loyal shareholders is nonsense anyway. What happens if aShareholder is another company?Shares and emotions don't mix. Dispassionate is best. | r ball
07/11/2016 13:36 | Hmm. Can you claim a CGT loss on AIM? | r ball
07/11/2016 13:10 | I wrote this off a while ago, will use the loss to help with CGT on a couple of profit making shares. I don't suppose there is any chance of coming out with something is there?? | johnmcd51
06/11/2016 19:37 | R Ball, Yes they are the main points, what transpired later is inconsequential, the damage was done before that. How many people here remember the presentation at the geographical Society, Piccadilly? When Bill tried to put on a straight face and thanked the "loyal shareholders" at the end? Enough said....... | andy
06/11/2016 16:19 | Have to say Daniel Levi seems to know a lot about drug dealing. Is he a former Policeman ? | handykart
06/11/2016 15:35 | I thought the main reason for the delisting was that they failed to find any oil. Their are significant other reasons being - directors taking significant cash salaries, buying all the drilling rights through the recommendation of one (connected?) party, main director not disclosing alleged financial irregularity, getting involved with a Middle East company, lending money to directors and a middle eastern individual, not having personal guarantees on loans to Big Sofa. | r ball
06/11/2016 15:11 | De listing is the best news for this. | johndee
04/11/2016 11:17 | The responsibility for the loss of the AIM LISTING rest firmly and squarely on the shoulders of Turney the drug dealer and Bullivant the crackpot. Confirmed to me by the Company. FYI Great read guys... Dan x | daniel levi bmd
04/11/2016 07:20 | Not the greatest end to the listed saga. | patientcapital
24/10/2016 18:57 | Nomad no longer acting and shares being delisted in November. This share is dead and buried . RIP. | higson1
24/10/2016 18:28 | Mention of fraud begs the question of jurisdiction. jersey? England? Canada? Abu Dhabi? I wondered why the registered office was in jersey. | r ball
24/10/2016 17:22 | True. Serious Fraud squad should be involved similar to the dodgy dealings at Teathers (TEA). | bobby.ifa
24/10/2016 15:18 | hands up who got sucked in by these j boy cowboys? | temmujin
24/10/2016 15:07 | Sorry chaps. I cannot see a new NOMAD stepping in to replace. | r ball
24/10/2016 05:18 | AdredI agree. | r ball
23/10/2016 21:20 | There is the issue possible $4.8m liabilities, we need more information on that front. One issue at a time, let's vote NO to Gary Bullivant, sorry Gary we can't afford you and your not needed. | adred
23/10/2016 20:01 | I fear that you are wrong. If there is a contingent liability of $4m then it's good night Vienna. | r ball
23/10/2016 17:03 | Agree there R Ball but with AR and RTO this could be new start. | adred
23/10/2016 16:23 | NEW shareholders have been taken for a ride from the very start. can someone tell me why an oil exploration company with interests in Belize and Denmark and directors in the US and Canada chose to list on a U.K. market and have a registered office in Jersey. | r ball
23/10/2016 15:46 | It would also be a lot of effort for Big Sofa to arrange RTOing into an alternative shell, and for NEW to arrange an alternative RTO for itself. So reactivating the old plan could actually save work. | hedgehog 100
23/10/2016 14:03 | No hope. Sorry | r ball
23/10/2016 12:32 | It's gone. Too much effort to sort out. | r ball
22/10/2016 20:11 | With the RTO aborted, to emerge from suspension NEW needs to, by 9th. November, clarify the Niel Petroleum issue, and appoint a new NOMAD. If that's achieved, time is on its side, because NEW has never been redesignated as an AIM "Investing Company", so there is not currently a time limit per se to complete a RTO, just a six-month time limit for each suspension period. Chat on LSE this week suggests that this may be the company's thinking, as both sides are still keen for the RTO to proceed, so it could potentially be reactivated later. | hedgehog 100 |
