06/1/2009 15:10 | Another decent buy on PLUS:- 06/01/2009 15:09:42 2.56 77,444 O 1,982.57 | treacle28
06/1/2009 15:03 | lol 8trader ,she is brilliant timing wise lol | iantc
06/1/2009 14:39 | I never laughed so much at some of the posts on here, now trades are delayed from many weeks ago, face facts there's a huge seller so if you try and sell any size you will be quoted much lower than the current bid because all that's on it now is just 8k at 2.35p, your pump and dump is going down the plughole treacle, you sell before a huge rise in TMC and you hold the one with the big seller, you know best. | 8trader
06/1/2009 14:31 | Blue Planet seem to think that the other development would be for a relist at 50p in 12 months time if sale does not happen. With more than ten bidders potentially interested, it should be a done deal for the banks in the very near future. Bidders aren't going to get another opportunity like this to pick up New Star on the very cheap at 10p or thereabouts. | treacle28
06/1/2009 14:30 | Presuming the stock market recovers then yes. | knowing
06/1/2009 14:29 | In the balance of things, can anyone feasibly expect this NOT to go higher than its current position, regardless of the size of this rise? What if no buyer comes on board - will it be a good 12 months to realise any worthwhile gains in this stock? | duncancosgrove
06/1/2009 14:24 | I had a target of 6-8p for any bid, calcs. on iii suggests anywhere from 10-18.5p. 2% FUM = 18.5p on same basis | treacle28
06/1/2009 14:17 | i see tmc flying now treacle old dear pity you sold out ,lol ,your timing with your t trades still missing the big rises ,lol ,may get into this stock when you have left | iantc
06/1/2009 14:15 | knowing, depends how much of that is held in cash!! or where / what stocks it is invested in...some are going down too!! | sportbilly1976
06/1/2009 14:09 | Well the 12bn under management will certainly have increased with the recent stockmarket rally. | knowing
06/1/2009 13:56 | Still decent buys on PLUS:- 06/01/2009 13:56:35 2.56 94,182 O 2,411.06 | treacle28
06/1/2009 13:52 | From iii: in response to earlier post from there. We've done some similar calculations and are looking for 11p to 15.5p..... Not long to wait now!! | treacle28
06/1/2009 13:31 | "We support the management's restructuring proposal, which we believe will add value in the next 12 to 24 months, but if an offer is made in the meantime, we will consider it." 'Even on most conservative basis, the think the minimum current value of New Star is around 20p per share but more realistically between 40-50p plus it has the ability to shed costs.' | treacle28
06/1/2009 13:30 | I think this could be a lot bigger than what we can see at this time. If there are no bids and the company goes ahead with the restructuring, it will become a debt free with asset value of more than 12b pounds. I'm talking about share price heading back to 1pound level | badhshah
06/1/2009 13:29 | DUET still moving up and down like a yo yo and keeping offer high. Possibly get another large buy like the 1.75m buy yesterday towards close. | treacle28
06/1/2009 13:17 | The swap of 75% of equity make the share in issue 510m approx. not 1000m. correct me if I'm wrong. Shares in issue before swap= 290m approx., 75% of it is roughly about 220m. | badhshah
06/1/2009 13:12 | Do you know the one very important thing?? You have to be in to win! | knowing
06/1/2009 13:10 | Yes I think that is where we are all hoping this will end up. Hopefully there are competing bids | fairdeal2008
06/1/2009 13:00 | Sport...gosh, ignore that on PLUS. That stays just like that. | treacle28
06/1/2009 13:00 | treacle, but the spread on Plus is 1.50-3.50 | sportbilly1976
06/1/2009 13:00 | ok treacle and 8 trader give it a rest will you both | doorway
06/1/2009 12:55 | Someone neeeds to get a better broker. Just like the one who ended up paying 3.50p for 289,000 shares yesterday morning. | treacle28
06/1/2009 12:55 | Guys i'm only trying to say that todays 1.6p trade, is nothing else than a delay buy from that date. Or you have a different explanation for it? | onasis |
