03/5/2006 06:29 | VOS @3.75p prior to the rto ---ten bagger imho dyor Just opened the post from the last day or 2, didnt realise i had a letter from Voss and notice of the agm on 22nd May. I will give the main points of the letter from Gerard Nealon, chairman,as some of you may have nominee accounts or something and not received it.... Dear shareholder, Investment strategy(pursuant to rule15 aim rules) Briefly it says, company is a shell at present, with no trading activities, The board is actively seeking an aquisition, potential target would operate outside UK, preferably an African Mining company. The board has discounted a number of potential targets in the last 12 months mainly because of lack of shareholder value. The company has been advised it has 12 months from agm to succeed , failing which trading will be suspended from AIM. The board believes that they have the experience , together with contacts within mining industry to aid in successful completion of a suitable acquisition within the next 12 months. They are continuing the search and will make annoncement when appropriate targe has been identified. Yours Gerard Nealon. i am told they have a deal lined up and it should be announced anyday regards harry | harry punter

24/4/2006 15:37 | Bad news boys, Mayfair is off. Just spoke to Tom at Cornhill. May rise from the ashes in a few months but short term not happening as they couldn't guarantee an exit route. I'm in for Cue and Summit too plus I think there's a nice oil pre-ipo coming up in a few weeks too. Lots to look forward to, and I've also heard St James is still on for May 2nd. | spiv 1
22/4/2006 12:14 | Yeah they sound ok, 70% cash! Cornhill seem to be going ok with these stocks. | dhamilton
22/4/2006 00:50 | hmmmm....interesting I`ve also got in on the Cue Energy & Summit Resources IPOs. | din007
21/4/2006 22:36 | No, our money is on acount. I don't think it will happen, things didn't go as planned.I've put my money into the two others floating early May. | dhamilton
21/4/2006 22:31 | What do you mean that Mayfair may not even happen now? Does this mean that everyone who invested in the Pre-IPO is out of pocket? | din007
21/4/2006 13:16 | Mayfair may not even happen now! Shame sounded a good bet. | dhamilton
19/4/2006 08:36 | allegedly (lol) | mdchand

13/4/2006 12:01 | Wow 5p bid. Big volume for the last few days. I expect there's a rumour they are about to announce something juicy. | spiv 1
13/4/2006 10:13 | Yep and they still haven't even announced their first investment. I think an rns on that will see these hit 6p. Congrats to Cornhill. | spiv 1
13/4/2006 09:56 | Good old cornhill 58% return on a cash shell pretty damn good. Long may it continue | octopus100
12/4/2006 07:24 | On please let it be true | din007
11/4/2006 23:23 | Yep looks now like there is some doubt that Mayfair will happen at all. Would be a real shame if it didn't as I think it would be very lucrative. On a more positive note, for those of you who went for Belitung Zinc, Cornhill think it could float late this month or early next. With the zinc price at an all time high (40% higher even than when the pre-ipo was done) it should go to a serious premium. Fingers crossed. | spiv 1 |
