Classic MM sting - dropping the price to shake weak holders out of positions. Net buys this am which makes it all the more contrived - they still short of stock (and I am including plus transactions). IMHO

Fairdeal - your understanding is correct. The stock gets traded and you have no say if its plus or not. You know you can add NPH plus trades to your Monitior and view all trades.... sorry, of course you know but for anyone else its NPH.GB

FD.........If you deal and it doesn't show on Advfn then it has gone to Plus. If you go to Plus screen and click on Aim traded, work through the alphabet system, find NPH click on Market Data and you will get all the day's trades. Only problem is it does not state buy or sell, you have to decide for yourself.

You have to watch the trades and see where the deal goes. Problem with plus is that they only show the last 5 trades on their screens...

Beagle, Thanks for an in depth reply, it's good to have posters who are willing to help. I didn't realise we were dual listed either. I see now how the prices on ADVFN are unknown and could be misleading. So how do you know if what your buying goes through PLUS or AIM then? Sounds like you can't. This is where I come a cropper, my lack of MM and Market manipulation etc. Cheers though

My understanding is that when you sell you cant specify whether it is plus or main market that the shares are traded on - you simply dont know. So I dont think it is possible to manipulate in that way. Could be wrong but that is my understanding.

As for volumes available (just in case you were hinting at me earlier), the only way I can tell what volume is available is by a dummy trade. I do them because it gives me a feel for where the market might be going and combined with L2 gives me something to report back to the BB on when the share starts to move. Also occasionally they throw me a cracking bargain and I buy.

Also, the MM take advantage of investors and the article link at the bottom of the NVR header gives an explanation of this.

I think the information is useful but it does come thick and fast where a share is moving and can seem overwhelming - sorry bout that.

As for P&D well you have to dump to P&D and I haven't dumped either on NPH or NVR. I remain a holder of both. I want £1.20 for NPH and 50p to £1 for NVR (depends on news) and normally I dont talk re target prices.

Then I will sell and have very little to do with the shares.

G2AM. 168,000 were traded on Aim today. 200,000 on Plus Markets whose deals do not show on ADVFN. I deal through TDW and today my sell went through Plus at 37.7p. which was better than I expected seeing I think the spread on Advfn was 36-39p. I (then an un-knower) didn't know we were dual listed until yesterday. You can just view Advfn's Aim prices and get a far from clear picture. This PM it looked as if every deal bar one was a buy mainly at 39p which makes newbies think it is only going one way, but look on Plus-Aim and it was 90% sells this afternoon. Hope this helps.What I think I'm saying is that P and D merchants can be selling on plus at the same time as saying "the mms have no stock etc" on Advfn/Aim.

ihavenoclue. Go and look on Plus-Aim traded. There have been loads of sells all afternoon at 37p ish. Does look solid I must admit, but there are definitely a fair number of people taking profit, whether from a p and d or from months back like myself. 200,000 traded there today!

Thanks Mike. As stated I'm still in 10k and might rebuy on any retrace. The dual Aim/ Plus quote is an eye opener which I knew nothing about until yesterday. Makes it easier for people in the know to trade in and out without being seen by the un-knowing! Nearly 200k traded there today, which I have to admit suggests something brewing but for every buyer there is always a seller as you know. GL.

Saw that 20k sell... posters are a distraction, if you did all your research you should know the potential here, personally i feel you have sold out very cheap but all the best!

Just sold 20k at 37.7p, probably on plus. Love this company but having just viewed the FT and SW pump on NVR, I just feel taking some profit here might be a good thing. Still got 10k. GLA.
