20/12/2020 13:17 | Big short attack here. In the paper today. Same people that shorted wirecard. | ![]() babbler
19/12/2020 23:27 | Article in todays Telegraph about Network ; mentions the rise in short interest and opposing views by analysts on whether fraud is going on. | ![]() brain smiley
18/12/2020 15:41 | Time will tell.Still wondering why the directors don't buy more shares - surely free money if recovery is coming ? Think it would help calm the share price down. | ![]() brain smiley
18/12/2020 15:28 | No bad news brain. Only the fact that one of large share holders has just increased its stake. It defies all logic. | ![]() leafysuburb
18/12/2020 12:23 | Anyone heard any news to account for todays fall ? | ![]() brain smiley
17/12/2020 13:06 | If holders of US listed Jumia Technologies (JMIA NY) were aware of NETW I suspect they would switch. It is a $3.5bn mkt cap Africa-based e-commerce platform with a payments platform (JumiaPay) included. Its TPV is just over a tenth the size of DPO and it seems to be viewed as the most exciting part of the group, with some speculation that it may be demerged. Now that would make for an interesting comparison! | ![]() tradertrev
17/12/2020 09:39 | Sale of the century yesterday when we are expecting the DPO deal to integrate and complete by year end and with vaccine now being approved and vaccination programs underway. | ![]() leafysuburb
14/12/2020 14:53 | Short interest increases to 6%. | ![]() brain smiley
11/12/2020 13:02 | More from the Middle East and the UAE. "Abu Dhabi has meanwhile announced that "all economic, tourism, cultural and entertainment activities in the emirate" will fully resume in two weeks due to the success of measures introduced to lower infection rates" | ![]() firm foundations
10/12/2020 16:44 | Must be the most violatile share in the FTSE350. Surprised the directors don't buy more shares for the economic recovery ahead.Make some money and perhaps calm the share swings down. | ![]() brain smiley
10/12/2020 15:26 | Been away from shares for a while but following NETW in the background since 220p. The Saudi's it would appear might be in market for the Pfizer vaccine having just given it a rubber stamp. When you are an oil rich country you get to buy most things that are needed. I would be particularly interested to know how long it would take to set up their own manufacturing plant or to modify existing facilities? | ![]() firm foundations
10/12/2020 08:53 | It looks like the share price is manipulated by the bots, every morning the transactions show similar pattern. And as you said the volume is very low. | ![]() petrencf
10/12/2020 08:41 | They buy more in the market than they need to cover their short and / or they can go "long" on a spreadbet. Interesting fall this morning that is not accompanied by any volume. Managed to get a few more for myself. DPO deal news is getting closer and two good new appointments to the Board yesterday. | ![]() leafysuburb
10/12/2020 00:12 | How do you short to go long? | ![]() brain smiley
10/12/2020 00:06 | Most though seem to be under water as the share price is above what it was on the day of the latest declarations. It makes me think that they are shorting to actually go long. I'd be interested to know what interest rate they have to pay for what is effectively loaned out stock? | ![]() leafysuburb
07/12/2020 16:04 | Short interest has risen to 5.7% | ![]() brain smiley
07/12/2020 11:21 | Don't know if truly comparable, but Adyen (ADYEN.AS) trades on 268x trailing 12 months P/E multiple! Makes this look a tad undervalued... | ![]() tradertrev
03/12/2020 17:32 | brain I fully expect this to be above 400p when we complete the DPO deal which is scheduled to complete before year end. That should position us well going into any recovery. | ![]() leafysuburb
02/12/2020 18:01 | Promising turnaround today.Over £3 tomorrow I hope ! | ![]() brain smiley
28/11/2020 17:05 | Interesting large late reported trade 27-Nov-20 18:00:17 277.428 267,664 Buy* £742.57k | ![]() leafysuburb
27/11/2020 14:56 | Ultimately several vaccines are all coming onstream now so all will return to normal by summer at the latest. Upon which Network will be far too cheap. | ![]() leafysuburb
25/11/2020 18:19 | Let me clarify my comment, regarding 'manipulation', which is just an opinion and might be wrong - I believe it is heavily manipulated by *short sellers*. From what I see, this is a market leading, solid, well-run and profitable company. I tried hard to find dirt, but there was *none* to be found. Furthermore, there are recent, large buys from respectable funds. At some stage, this stock will burst upwards to 400 and I'm prepared to wait for that, but in the meantime, there are ample opportunities for smaller, opportunistic trades. | battleofbrit |
