03/11/2004 14:50 | This company is going in the right direction. Large cash reserve and now generating cash. Clear of non-core activities and preparing for further acquisitions (AIM listing makes this easier). Also, their business model (Software as a Service) is now really beginning to take off in the USA. Let's see how far this can go......... | johnnyknight

22/10/2004 16:47 | Positive update Updates with further detail on transfer to AIM) LONDON (AFX)- Netstore PLC, a provider of outsourced IT services, said turnover and operating profit for the quarter ended Sept 30 was in line with expectations. Operating profit for the period was 200,000 stg against a loss of 200,000 stg a year earlier. Sales for the quarter of 2.5 mln stg were in line with expectation. The chief executive Neil Lloyd said: "I am encouraged by these results for the quarter and that we are on track to meet our longer term targets. The move to AIM is very positive and demonstrates our ambition to grow the business more quickly." The company said it is to apply to the UK listing authority to transfer its listing from the official list to the AIM. Trading in the company's shares on the AIM is expected to begin on Nov 26. The company's management said the new listing will simplify the process of completing acquisitions and simplify ongoing administration and requirements. newsdesk@afxnews.com ec | johnroger

01/10/2004 10:41 | Interesting - two notifiable interests in one week. Some-one believes int he shares. With consolidation expected in this sector, I have wondered for some time whether Netstore might be of interest to Computacentre, after H-P's acquisition of Synstar. Synstar's shares rocketed earlier this year on rumours that Computacentre was set to make a bid - it didn't materialise then, but came later from H-P. Does anyone else have a view? | susier
