11/9/2004 11:37 | houseprices - after 2 years of championing this company i've been stopped out of all but a nominal holding. very disappointed. share price failing to respond to good results again, you might be right. lack of new contracts also conspicious by absence. | widemouthfrog
11/9/2004 06:59 | houseprices....lol | paladin12001
10/9/2004 23:27 | Eh!, think there is a problem with the contract at The Housing Corporation. WMF, you have asked my opinion in the past, I think it will crumble all the way back to 20p, doesn't make sense when you look at the figures. I think the HC are going to phase them out, not happy about performance, also labour cutbacks in the pipeline. Big seller has got it right I think! | houseprices
09/9/2004 08:13 | I'm happy to hold for a while and see where we head...what we need is an institution to start buying in now that the company has turned the corner into profit. Now would be a good time as at this price the shares look good value. | paladin12001
09/9/2004 08:01 | Paladin12001..thanks thats why the drop then...i think these shares are cheap and i wont be selling mine. | spcecks
09/9/2004 07:56 | spcecks...i suggest its that Robbie Burns (thenakedtrader) sold out yesterday for a small loss over concerns that they would move to the AIM. Lots of people selling yesterday and today so hence the price drops. All IMHO Robbie said, "I also sold my Netstore shares at 34p for a small loss of £153. It's quite unusual for me to sell shares just a few days after buying and it probably sounds weird because I think it's a company with a future and I don't think the shares will drop. There's only one reason a line from a positive broker report which said the company is likely to move to an AIM listing rather than a full one. As I can't hold AIM stock in my portfolio I've decided to sell now and get it over with rather than holding shares I know I will have to sell anyway. Also in my experience a move to AIM often means a company's shares don't rise much short-term as Isa and Pep holders have to sell. I suspect the shares may even move up a bit in the next few days it's the kind of share Shares Mag likes to tip so I would not be surprised to see them tipping it tomorrow. But as I said I may as well move on now." | paladin12001
09/9/2004 07:51 | woonder why the price is dropping when results were good. | spcecks
07/9/2004 05:46 | Evolution Beeson Gregory 6 Sep 2004 Netstore (NES) Add (unchanged) Mkt cap: £33m Net cash: £8m Finals Price/Target: 34p/37p Netstore delivers maiden profit In line with our expectations, Netstore has delivered its maiden full year profit, before goodwill and exceptionals, and with much of the revenue earned under long term contracts we are confident of more profit in FY05. FY revenues jumped 46% to £20.7m on the back of the big public sector contracts with L.B. of Hackney, and The Housing Corporation, leading to a maiden full year PBT of £0.3m, before goodwill and exceptional items related to the disposals programme. With significant losses brought forward, no tax will be payable, but there was an exceptional tax credit. Adjusting for this EPS was 0.3p. Cashflow from operations was disappointing, with a £1.3m outflow due to a big increase in debtors (up £2m compared to a 0.9m decrease last year). The company notes that this is slow payment by some large key debts which have now been collected so expect to see that reversed in Q105. However capex was reduced to £0.7m (FY03 £3.2m) without the need to scale up for the Housing Corp. contract seen last year. Net acquisitions came to £0.8m bringing total outflow to £2.4m and net funds down to a still very healthy £7.7m at the year end. Overall this has been an excellent year for Netstore. It has delivered on its large public sector contracts, whilst disposing of the remains of its old SME oriented businesses. With revenues now earned under long term contracts, it has strong visibility on the year ahead; £14.6m of revenues for the year to June 2005 are already contracted. We are expecting revenues of £22.5m in the year ahead, EBITDA of £2.4m and PBT of £1.33m. The PER looks high due to the strong cash balance but, the underlying EV/EBITDA shows excellent value, at under 11x for a company exhibiting strong growth in both sales and earnings, and whose revenues are strongly underpinned by long term contracts with public sector bodies. The company is planning a move to AIM in the future. | pacman88
06/9/2004 15:01 | have to agree with just and pac. It looks like there was a big seller around and it could be this seller is nearly cleared out. Think once this moves up it'll really go - I've reread the statement a few times and it looks very confident. Bought some today and feel sure there is a good profit to be had here even if some patience needed | renegade master
06/9/2004 14:45 | Still my largest holding and given results I continue to be happy to hold. | pacman88
06/9/2004 14:29 | deadly, I agree. Strong results which don't appear to be built into the share price and the pond life marks it down. I'm in for 9,350 Looks a good recovery play to me. | justjim37
03/9/2004 14:27 | Ah well, That looks like all the robbie burns lemmings on board.....me included. | pedro2
03/9/2004 14:04 | Robbie Burns - The naked trader has just bought. May get a short term run out of this | bbd2
23/8/2004 06:55 | The Financial Times on 10th July featured an article on Computacentre, which talked of its drive into managed services and its focus on offering a range of infrastructure services that complement customers'in-house IT departments, saying this has proved attractive in the market and has enabled Computacentre to grow is managed service revenues. There were rumours earlier this year about Computacentre planning to make a 95p per share bid for Synstar, which was denied at the time. Now that Hewlett Packard has accquired Synstar, would anyone have a view on the likelihood of Computacentre turning its attention to Netstore? | susier
01/8/2004 07:52 | (increase from 12.34% - see post 389) "RNS Number:3501B NetStore PLC 29 July 2004 ... M&G ... notifiable interest in 12,357,800 ordinary shares ... 13.02 per cent..." | widemouthfrog |
