28/5/2015 12:13 | Good rns out | jaws6
04/3/2015 08:30 | "The Board has unanimously agreed to terminate Farad's appointment and thanks him for his notable contributions as the founder of the Group and wishes him the best of success with his future ventures." Doesn't sound as though he was forced out. When they go due to malfeasance or simply losing a boardroom fight, they don't get thanked and wished good luck in the RNS. I note that he seems to have a history, at his various companies, of leaving to make way for new management, so it may simply be that he prefers to buccaneer at a start-up rather than grinding at a larger and more established business. On the other hand, NXT plc doesn't seem to have done particularly well recently. Share price not doing too well recently though; I think I'd like to know more about this whole affair before buying, rather than just speculating from one-line clues. | loldemort
25/1/2015 16:04 | One week on, and it appears to be a case of "nobody knows, nobody cares". Most strange. | elgordo
16/1/2015 21:12 | Farad Azima "removed" - oh dear, what's this about?... | elgordo
02/7/2014 09:00 | Rns looks good | jaws6
20/6/2014 14:49 | Probably inadvertently calling the top here, but nice to see this quietly move back up towards the 160p initial placing price... | elgordo
10/12/2013 22:03 | Thanks Elgordo, Don, Mira. The website is a good reference. Interesting that nearly 90% in insti hands. When will the company be generating some meaningful income? I also have TRX and IPO, other Invesco/Woodford holdings. I wrote this a few days ago on the IPO bb, "Could there be some holding activity from Invesco, following the news that they are experiencing withdrawals from their funds due to the recent announcement by Woodford? Conversely, perhaps his new venture will contain similar holdings and lead to a boost for this sector. Any views?" Anyone here have any insights as to how Invesco will manage the need to generate cash for the withdrawals? I am seeing spikes in some of woodfords holdings, that can be interpreted both as positive and negative. | bamboo2
10/12/2013 12:11 | TRX is another company Woodford's invested in..I reckon his fund owns around 29% of that also | mirabeau
10/12/2013 12:08 | Neil Woodford's fund has 39% of it. | don777
09/12/2013 17:50 | Is there a NetScientific website? Cant seem to find it. Would like to determine insti holdings. | bamboo2

28/10/2013 20:56 | Odd fall on very little volume? | hydrus
28/10/2013 16:51 | Marked down about 20% on flotation price now, tempted but think I will continue to wait and see what transpires. | timberwolf3
15/10/2013 00:59 | I agree, the big hitters attracted me to the floatation. But I had some concerns and didn't invest. The Company has 5 investment subs. 4 say "is developing ......." the fifth, Wanda, has developed a cloud-based health monitoring and intervention system. From my personal experience of telehealth, the really difficult thing is to sign-up new customers. They are all individuals, even though they may come via health services. In addition there are 6 projects in development. There are 19 executive directors and senior managers. That is a wages/NI/pension bill of well in excess of £2 million pa, plus other staff costs, plus establishment costs, development costs, marketing establishment costs, sales costs, etc. but no income yet. The floatation brought in £28.1 million, but we can see that costs of the full establishment demand a rapid move into income generation or the prospect of additional fund raising (which would bring a dilution of investors interests in the case of a rights issue, or additional interest cost in the case of acquiring more debt). I can't see how any valuation can be made for the share price by investors, given that there are no forward-looking projections available on the website. So, in order to attract investors to their company, and thus enhance the share price, management must provide projections on income, costs, cashflow and related funding. Otherwise I see nothing to attract investors and, one would expect, therefore, a declining share price. | midmarsh30
17/9/2013 08:53 | Interesting indeed which is why I set up the thread though I have no interest in maintaining it. It maintains itself On my monitor and OTW | mirabeau
17/9/2013 08:51 | Yes I was expecting a higher close on day 1 as issue was overbought and quite a lot of publicity. However agree this is a watching brief at moment looks interesting. | hydrus
16/9/2013 16:46 | One to watch , some big hitters on the board and a very experienced management team as well. Their investment portfolio looks interesting, with Vortex in the same field as Angle's Parsortix. | timberwolf3 |
