Unlike us shareholders, I expect the BOD got their shares for free, no wonder they accepted the offer. Value for shareholders.......what value are they talking about ???

Agreed, i expect there to be a revised offer and it will need to be at least 10p.

There's more value in the cash generation, high dividend payment and low valuation than a fire sale.Regards, coxsmn

Shareholders are not going to agree to the 9p offer at the Court Meeting. Betsson will have to up their offer or NPT will remain a cash rich, profitable business on a low valuation.

I'm holding here for a revised offer price.

I wonder if Stride Gaming might be interested - STR.

Mark Slater holding 2.5% - he won't be happy and he hasn't agreed yet either!

NOT a done deal here by any means.

Another big gambling business will see this is a complete con and may want to force the price up, irrespective of whether they want to buy it.

Considering the cash and profits, it must be worth at least 15p. !!

Corrupt BOD and the instis agreeing to it so easily.

someone asked if the offer could be voted down-surely someone here knows and whether it is a better option for shareholders- where would institutional investors stand vould they turn it down?

Henderson have not given an irrevocable undertaking. So all to go for here. I'll vote this down too. A clear p*ss take offer.

Thank you Jim.

"Strand Hanson has taken into account the commercial assessments of the NetPlay Directors"
So what have they told them?

The offer does look derisory but the directors don't seem to have much skin in the game.

Be interesting to see how easy it is to get the other major shareholders on board.

This might flush out a bidder yet. Now that a 9p offer is declared anyone potentially thinking about it before have to make up their mind now. It's now or never.

The business isn't doing too bad either as it is. Profitable and net cash.

Actual. From update to end June.

"The Group continues to be cash generative, with net cash generated from online gaming operations being GBP1.5m (H1 2015: GBP1.0m) and an 88% conversion rate from adjusted EBITDA. The Group now has cash and cash equivalents of GBP9.0m (H1 2015: GBP15.8m), which net of player balances means there is corporate cash available of GBP7.5m (H1 2015: GBP13.9m). This is equivalent to 2.7 pence per ordinary share in issue at the 30 June 2016 (4.7 pence per ordinary share in issue at 30 June 2015)."

9p really does look a low bid. Unless the business is tanking. One never knows, but judging by last statement it looks more likely the low bid.

Was just looking at the cash.
Is that players deposits or actual cash?

We had 2.7p cash/share at 30 June - presumably nearer 3p now so only 6p for the actual business.
