18/7/2007 20:40 | actually more i think about it the outraged i am. Thats a huge load of my money thats been given to the us govt for absolutely no benefit that i can see. | ![]() dan1man
18/7/2007 20:00 | Not scaremongering, that's what I'd expect (the 7am scenario) because it's what I've seen a few times in the past (in those cases when results weren't issued before the deadlines) Markets usually overreact and, being a pessimist, I'm expecting to see that reaction to the downside unless they put out something really, really positive in the results. Could result in a big opportunity. | ![]() stewjames

18/7/2007 19:54 | May not get much time though. Isn't it likely to be results at 7am, relist at 8? They might even publish results during trading hours with immediate lifting of suspension? | ![]() stewjames
18/7/2007 19:50 | plus the results will be published before it relists, at least we may be able to make a more accurate analysis then, up or down | sabre1_98
18/7/2007 19:47 | My estimate of price on relisting: Cash left after paying fine = approx $100 million = 40p per share. eps for 2007 = around 2/3 of previous analyst estimates (to allow for loss of Canada) = 5.2p = 78p per share (applying p/e ratio of 15 for what we hope is an expanding company) Total = 118p However, it could open a lot lower than this to flush out weak holders desperate to exit. And then it could go a lot higher as there could be takeover interest. And of course if business is better than expected in the UK and Far East it could be back over 200p in no time with a much higher p/e ratio. One very positve factor is that all threat of litigation is now gone. | atomic dog
18/7/2007 19:45 | what about the legal bills!!! | oiliphant
18/7/2007 19:43 | As part of the DPA, the Company has also agreed to forfeit US$ 136 million to the United States. This amount includes the approximately US$ 60 million that the USAO has previously seized. Surprise, surprise. It was all about the money. So much for ethics, eh USA? Maestro, since suspension the company lost even more of its customer base and now is taking a big hit to the cash pile as well. The news has got quite a lot worse, so it's extremely unlikely it'll open up. Can't you close before it relists for just a small loss on the spread anyway? | ![]() stewjames
18/7/2007 19:39 | sabrel No this will rub off on the others in the online gambling sector, who knows if they will get a fine to settle dispute, the market hates uncertainty. | ![]() montyhedge

18/7/2007 19:26 | No cash left after fine paid, must be some kind of fund raising, shareholders diluted? | ![]() montyhedge
18/7/2007 19:24 | Its not great news for Neteller (even if not that bad either) but I would say its good news for the industry as a whole - at least they won't be facing prosecution and no one will finish behind bars - but how are they going to pay the US clients? from the funds frozen from the DOJ? | ![]() guidfarr
18/7/2007 19:23 | 4p soooooooooon -lols, somebody getting worried about what tomorrow will bring? | sabre1_98

18/7/2007 19:02 | how much did paypal settle for? | sabre1_98
18/7/2007 18:55 | At the Interim statement on the 11th Sept 2006 Neteller had $135,960,350 as cash balance IN DOLLARS which MUST BE THE $136M dollars to be paid to the b------s in the USA... This is not good news................ | ![]() actony
18/7/2007 18:41 | lol roverisback and his gut instinct - u must be kidding opening at 400 pence after losing the US market and steadily shrinking potential market size (Canada out, recently Turkey out as well and now Israel) - how much have you got dumped into this one rover. I still can't understand how anyone could have invested money in this in its peak when each Neteller client was valued at around $500 - how can a client for a money transfer service ever be worth so much is perplexing to say the least. | ![]() guidfarr
18/7/2007 18:22 | All in all this is a better result than prosecution. That could have hung over the company for years and really depressed the share price. Remenmber the thing that the stock market fears most is uncertainty. We now have certainty it is resolved. This is good. What is not known is how the rest of the business asia, europe has performed since suspension. The worry is that the Neteller customers in these regions have seen what has happened in the US and withdrawn all of thier funds. I think that even an aim compnay would have to announce a "run on the bank". So if the euro and asian business has declined then 50p is posible, again remember fear and greed will drive this stock price on re listing. Whereas if the Euro business and asian business has been grwoing through this time then the share price could well be significantly north of 250p. My vote goes for a chart like party, be selling when relisted, a weak holders sick of there losses get rid of them (maybe for CGT reasons) then big bounce as the insitutions smell a bargain and a profit. | malcolme2 |
