16/8/2006 16:03 | Small NMT shareholders are being used as pawns in a game. Volvere Directors issuing the go-ahead to buy more shares in a company that they are themselves are Directors in, to use to vote themselves back on the board at the AGM, also to use to vote through what they want to implement at that AGM. This can not be ethical? I wonder what the FSA will have to say about this. pc Looks to me that they know that they may not get voted back in as Directors and the only way that they will is if they buy their way in. | pc4900074200
16/8/2006 15:37 | MAGIC INDEED! I would change the word magic to manipultae but I can't spell manipulate | wild bill
16/8/2006 15:31 | Noted another reference today to 29.9% of the shares for an unrelated company. Appears to be some kind of magic number that gives the owners special powers. Clearly an attempt to stop the other shareholders from taking VLE on (in addition to the seriously dodgy 'if you kick us out we'll take a big chunk of the company in cash' deal that they setup a few months back. | srsm

16/8/2006 15:12 | Is this a voting tactic? A very cute move if it is, any comments Roy? | wild bill
16/8/2006 15:00 | No new buy there. It's Volvere buying back the shares that they sold to Credit AGRICOLE SA. We will see an RNS in the next few days I would think. Same amount. Looks to me that they are looking to push something through at the AGM and they know that all votes will count. This will make them back to 26%+ of total shares. pc If it is them buying, this must be classed as manipulation of shares to gain what they want and the question needing to be asked is that is this against the rules as we have two directors on NMT directly involved with Volvere. | pc4900074200

18/7/2006 12:55 | Saddened to see this share taking another canning. Now under the value @ the consolidation. One would have thought that with the treatment [lack of any news for months] given to shareholders by Management / Volvere over the last year, then to be told that they will be using the maximum amount of time permitted [August] before issuing an up-date. The share should have stabilised and all shareholders that wished to exit would have done so. Yet we see the MM's still trying to decimate the share value on little amounts of sells. With NMT it's been all hype as to the famous statement of 'Shareholder Value'. We have watched the decline in value of our shares as the management take their fee's and bonuses and what have we received in return? Nothing but empty promises! Gives me an idea? I wonder if it will work? Get a few friends together, open a company or take-over a company. List it in the AIM, or it may be in there already. [Oh, lucky us]. Keep all the other shareholders in the dark , [that's OK, as those that need to know what is going on, own most or a high percentage of the company and are in positions of authority]. Bear in mind that the amount of shares we must own, must be sufficient to be able to out-vote any other shareholders if the need arises. Then my friends and I can sit back and earn a nice return year by year and when We want-out, we sell on the company taking all our money back and of course make a fat profit as well. What do we do? What is the company? Well, we invest in other companies and sit back, saying nothing. Use the law of the land to it's maximum, saying nothing until We have to. But we are making money in the process as we are getting paid a wage. One may ask? What about all the other shareholders? Well, they kept us going, watching all their share value drain away. If my friends and I have been lucky, the other shareholders would have given up the ghost and sold their shares and moved on. Those that are left will get a fair value for their shares. That is, a fair value for what the shares are trading at the time we decide to cut and run. Anyone fancy having a go? It may work? pc | pc4900074200
