09/4/2008 16:22 | What would a bid have to be if it is going to be succesfull?5m! | k123
09/4/2008 15:03 | It is quite possible. The management lack dynamism and it feeds through to sales. The whole business is moribund and the only thing in the way of a takeover is the lack of kerb appeal in the portfolio. Q. | quidnunc
09/4/2008 14:11 | ..........Why pay 3m for 50% of part of a company? When you can pay the same for all? Is it possible? And why not? | k123
09/4/2008 14:07 | Step by step down to 0.4? And then? | k123
09/4/2008 13:13 | Another step down Q. | quidnunc
08/4/2008 09:36 | They couldn't agree ongoing operational proceedures with partner. See news link at top of this page. Meanwhile, welcome to the understorey world of the falling knife share price Q. | quidnunc
31/3/2008 10:56 | Who called the deal off?And why? Good or bad is going to be the next subject. | k123
31/3/2008 08:17 | only just getting back on line after a house move and internet stuff up so the deal is off then is that good or bad ?? | fatfish
28/3/2008 08:28 | awaiting the sensation of a short sharp shock Q. | quidnunc
26/3/2008 16:37 | Surprised it stuck all day at .6p I guess the market struggled and failed to give a damm. Cue the snail-like drift into .5p territory whilst NSO dream up another fund raising deal like a cookie sale or something. Q. | quidnunc
25/3/2008 10:49 | Now there is your £ 100 divi ,now run along and find us the £500k we need as your share of the expansion monies ? | h d shoring
25/3/2008 09:11 | They do have a divi from their partners to spend. That should be worth a jamboree bag and a handful of chewies Q. | quidnunc
24/3/2008 12:55 | mjcrockett - Not suggesting a cash call to us mere mortals that would be very non Aim. Rather a rns saying we have placed xxxMillion shares to ourselves and friends for .4p They would not have had to put up 50% of cost to expand Sort if they had sold it. They stated they were considering return of SOME element of proceeds. 50% of the offshore units which they have agreed to purchase will not be cheap to buy back . The new director is on board for some reason ,and a new string to the bow will need financing. Hope I am wrong but when you have been screwed many times on aim you get a tad cynical . | h d shoring
24/3/2008 12:09 | HDS, You may be right, but I would be surprised to see a cash call. They had C£500K at 30/6/07 and they should have been cash flow positive since then. If they were needing cash, I do not think that they would have contemplated a significant return of funds on the sale of SOLT. Results in May will help us get a slightly clearer picture - but with NSO only SLIGHTLY clearer. MJ | mjcrockett
24/3/2008 10:11 | Possibly a call for cash coming now rather than a divi . They say agreed terms to buy out mobile tank company jv ,[with no sale where is money coming from ??]Money needed also for expansion in middle east and onshore uk ? How much spare cash you got Q ? Small beer?? Next 12 months could finally move nso onwards and upwards ? | h d shoring
23/3/2008 20:03 | Looks to me like they were unable to agree with the holders of the other 50%. That being so, it makes any value based on the asset questionable. Small beer. quiddy | quidnunc
20/3/2008 16:43 | Looks like the sale hasn't gone through for reasons other than price. But, HD you are right it has highlighted the value of Gibraltar, and what with such a rapid expansion, this may well be very much a blessing in disguise and NSO may well end up far better off in the end. Also all thos other activities (offshore, new base, etc, ) gathering pace, would suggest that we will see significant progress all around. And, don't forget the 'p' word: 'profitability'. If that's on the up, well, what more could we ask for? Note: 'SOLT' paid a dividend (and NSO owns 50%). I wonder how much that was! | 2magpies
20/3/2008 16:32 | Well there you have it NO SALE. I suspected as much with the delay and lack of news . One thing is now sure the value of the gib works is known ,and if they dip on this news I will be adding more . | h d shoring
20/3/2008 16:26 | Still offering .6p up to 375k on selftrade get them while their cheap . Already said in rns trading improved up to dec with results in may . | h d shoring
20/3/2008 13:40 | Just had a little punt and added more at .6p.cheap now even if sale is aborted . will be able to sell a few at .75p or more on results sale or not . | h d shoring |
