I was planning to get into NAN late in the 2nd quarter, however thanks to the post on here yesterday highlighting the Future Wave events, I was on board early.

Q2 and Q3 07 were looking like major quarters for NAN in terms of progress (given the Sensium chip went under trials in Q1) and therefore, we should hopefully be looking for a strong run into further news of developments and progress.

I think the reason that some announcements may not be picked up by ADVFN are that they are relased via PRN Newswire, not RNS.

I might be barking up the wrong tree, but that looks the likely cause to me.

Very tight spread only 0.25p, there is normally a 1p spread, lets hope it opens up on the upside pushing us further up the leaderboard.

A "T" at 100k but we don't really know if its buy/sell

'T' If reporting a single protected transaction. A protected transaction occurs when a large order is going through the market. The buyer (or seller) may wish to keep the order anonymous from the rest of the market as the size of the order could greatly alter the price of the stock. With a protected transaction, the dealer will put the trade through in small quantities rather than knock the whole order out in one hit. The entire transaction is reported once the deal is completed. The LSE is notified at the start and at the end of the transaction. However, the market as a whole isn't told until the end, thus the order is protected.

SO is it a buy or sell order ? Could be what kicked the price off pre-open (it was 4% up before kickoff)

Trouble with the NMS being only 5k a lot of trades are delayed showing and subsequently appear as sells as the price moves upwards,can never understand why advfn can't write a bit of software to take account of that.

What follows is a post from Rob Evans on iii. from an IMG perspective....

"There is an element of risk in taking a stake in a start-up of course - but on the flip side it can pay off handsomely if the start-up goes well. I'm no RF expert, but I do know that the technology FW is developing is very desirable. CMOS RF is a 'hot' area for electronics - the reason being is that it holds the promise of allowing the RF chip and baseband chip to be integrated. A single chip RF/baseband device would be significantly cheaper than two chips, and would have lower power consumption and take up less area, all very desirable features for mobile devices "

Dont be offended by the use of the word "start up" (its just relative to IMG).In my opinion there may be more "collaboration" between IMG and FW to come.

I think folk may be put off by previous talk of fundraising but todays announcement includes an element of secured funds without tapping the market.

Agree totally about the healthcare application but wonder if they've considered any other applications which seem obvious to me...
i.e. Fitness monitoring in the sporting world. Stress monitoring in the business world. Battlefield monitoring ( I know that sounds grim but I recently became aware of the term "future soldiering").........and so on.

There never is when Nanos make an announcement, dont know why.

I have been a holder here since they came to the market and think the potential is now coming through.

Would like to see some contract announcements on the medical side which will get the shares flying.

Having been in IMG a few years now I think the FW side of the business may take longer to bear fruit than the TOUMAZ side of it.Both got great potential though,so take a long view and have patience.
