Toumaz has won a global award for innovation at the IET's annual Innovation in Engineering Awards for a medical product dubbed the 'digital plaster'. The Abingdon based company scooped the Electronics award for 'Connected freedom- ultra low power wireless body monitoring'. The 'digital plaster' is an ultra-low power smart sensor, which can continuously monitor multiple vital health signs such as such as heart rate, body temperature and respiration remotely without the need for bulky equipment.

Another 100k just gone through, i would say that any large trade that goes through above the bid price must be a buy in these markets. Anyone that wants to offload a large sell normally has to take below the bid.

Looking like we are poised to break out on the upside, in the recent interview by Guy Spellman he intimated we would get some news before the end of this year not in the next 12-18 months.

Just what would some major deal to these do we all think?

I could easily see the right deal doubling, or even trebling the current Market Cap., I guess we have to trust the directors to bring what must be a whole host of discussions to some sort of commercially explosive conclusion.

Fingers crossed we see such a deal in the next 12 to 18 months.

IMHO. the 250k which has appeared is not a sell but the completion of fridays order which pushed the share price forward by 0.5p.Doing the math it was the seller at 13.15 (40k) who enabled completion.
This is being held tightly at the moment and I think when we have more details of the FW funding round and hopefully a re-evaluation of FWs current market value we might come to the conclusion that everything else is there for free (if you get my drift).
An IPO of Future Waves late in 2008? definately.........

Up to now,non of the nominees websites are saying anything about winning an award last night,perhaps it was n't such a big deal after all.

Toumaz is up against Phyworks Ltd and Thermoteknix Systems (comms and thermal imaging respectively)
I think that the Toumaz Sensium has the greatest potential to change peoples day to day lives but whether that is part of the criteria is anybodies guess.

Last Friday there was a buy at .25p above the ask,we'll see if this is more of the same.It should appear about 09.00.
