26/7/2005 20:33 | NBR-----Quiet on this thread ----Anyone heard any news? For example ,the new screen mentioned earlier which was supposed to be operational ''at the end of June'' ? [I have friends who live down that way but are currently in the UK for family reasons so I'm getting no feed back from that source!] What's happening folks ? -SC | shadowchaser
12/7/2005 23:46 | My thoughts on the way ahead for this company, up to Dec 05. If they can maintain anything like full production, I expect to see an RNS announcement (approx Dec 05)stating that they are going to purchase another D.M.S in order to get as many diamonds out of the ground as soon as possible. If this is their intention it should prove to the market, that this firm is going places. I would be interested in hearing anyone elses views on this subject. | maxmol
09/7/2005 17:16 | With reguard to NBR,s cash position. Since starting in March 2004 up until the end of June 2005, see RNS No. 13240 dated 28/06/05. I believe that selling the diamonds they have produced so far with thier limited production, they should have covered their start up cost, including the cost of the D.M.S. plant. With the D.M.S. plant now on a 10 hour per day shift the next Quarterly production figures should give us an idea about the yearly results with normal production, which should all be profit, except running costs.I believe there is no requirement for any extra cash injection. If you read the above RNS, in 7 days an initial sampling programme some 50 meters to the East of the Saltztal West ephemeral stream sediment has produced over 300 carats of an average size of 0.62 carats per stone. The average grade has been approxmately 27 carats per 100 tons mined. If you compare this with Afican Diamonds of 7 carats per 100 tons mined,( having to use a 23 inch drilling rig to get their material).I think NBR has a very rosey future in the next couple of years. One for the long term holder who would like to triple their money in two years. Please DYOR. | maxmol
01/7/2005 19:51 | Any views on the NMBR's cash position - If theyve overspent on the start up is there sufficcient working capital or will we see a placing or rights | ![]() zipstuck
01/7/2005 19:40 | unpredictable or what? Great news and profit taking massacres the price. Mind you little if any press coverage. Patience with this one though, those three monthly reports should knock the price up and once the up and coming results with all the flotation and installation costs are out of the way it should be blue sky, | ![]() bluesbeater

28/6/2005 14:25 | At last some good news, the part I like best is as follows. During the last week an initial sampling programme some 50 meters to the East of the Saltztal West empemeral stream sediment has produced over 300 carats of an average size of .62 carats per stone. This sould mean that the next Quarterly production figures when the DMS plant is on a full 10 hour per day shift should send the share price to a more healthy figure. My guess is 80 pence + by end of 2005. Also if they can obtain one or more of the ( A number of RESOURCES have been identified and are CURRENTLY uder consideration by the company ) I can see the share price being 100 pence + by the end of 2005. | maxmol

28/6/2005 12:12 | News out as mentioned on thursday. RNS Number:1324O Namibian Resources PLC 28 June 2005 AIM Listed Namibian Resources PLC Progress Report (1) From 1st March 2005 to 6th June 2005 a total of 2096 carats have been consigned with a further 443 carats to be sorted from 6th June to the 16th June. Production has increased from 221 in March to at least 1,000 carats in June. The average stone size has increased from .47 in March to .6 carats per stone in June. Approximately 10% of stones have been in excess of 1 carat. The average grade has been approximately 27 carats per 100 tons mined. We estimate our 80% share of valuation to 6th June to be #168,000. During the last week an initial sampling programme some 50 meters to the East of the Saltztal West ephemeral stream sediment has produced over 300 carats of an average size of .62 carats per stone. This is in addition to the indicated 4,200 carats contained in the Saltztal West stream sediment. This is extremely encouraging but further sampling is required to assess the total extent of this additional resource. Tests on the Saltztal East will be undertaken as soon as possible where very limited historical sampling many years ago indicated an average stone size of .75 carats. Production to date on the Saltztal West indicated resource is in line with our geological assumptions. (2) Production commenced with our new equipment in late January, This production was confined to tailings of the old German Kaiser Wilhelms tal tailings. The DMS plant has worked at only 30% to 40% capacity due to inadequate water supply and insufficient material from the in field wet and dry screen. The water problem has been resolved and a Finlay 683 Combi screen has been purchased. This will be operational by end of June and will be more than adequate to feed the DMS plant on a full 10 hour per day shift. The production delays have caused a disappointing result for the year ended 28th February 2005 but current production is now very encouraging. An announcement of the results for the year ended 28th February will be made as soon as the audit is completed. Quarterly production figures will be announced in future. (3) Black Empowerment Group A number of resources have been identified and are currently under consideration by the Company. Any further investment will be dependant upon acquiring a resource or resources at the production stage. A further announcement will be made as soon as we have a positive result. (4) Thanks are due to our staff and management in Namibia for all their efforts during a difficult period, which is now showing a positive result. Thanks are also due to Namdeb for their support and technical assistance, which is enabling the company to move toward optimum production.
