sorry to be taking so much time on this board, but in my research, i came across FDI, now can someone please tell me how they have a market cap of 53m with 372m shares in issue giving them a share price of 14+, i will not post their revenue on here, in case some of you are into FDI, but on comparables we are GEM and they are NAD. crazy crazy valuations by probably the same div in the brokers/MM office, he must have done FDI in the morning and NAD in the afternoon after a extended lunch at the adam and eve! he valued us at a 40% lower valuation....haha...wakey wakey fella, you must have put the dot in the wrong way around

i cannot see why some of the bigger investors have not come into NAD so far, revenue last year was 82m and for this half year we had a reported 45m, which is about 3m behind 2010 half year, we should be looking at above 78m revenue on the annual report on Tuesday, we have more or less done capex for KAO, and it should be turning into a revenue/profit item this month onwards, the disposal of the loss making DRC will have a impact on revenue, but the ramp up by KAO will not only compensate, it will exceed. it has to be turning a profit in the first quarter of 2012 with the expected 4 month ramp up at KAO.

so putting all that in perspective, at this vital point in the company's turning point from loss to profit, we have a market cap of 21m against a in-stream of revenue of 78m+ for 2011

we are mining in a relative moderate area, this is no Zimbabwe where we have to discount 30% due to government risk stability??

on revenue alone we should have a share price of 36+ on comparable. lets hope the euro issues sought themselves out tomorrow, because we are being driven to outrageous and incomparable market caps by brokers and market makers, who seem to be spooked by any little news item, however trivial

not sure about the takeover post and its legitimately, but i cant see why the share price is at this valuation, is this just market sentiment? this was trading at 60+ at the beginning of the year, and in the mid 40's right up until September this year when the funding and board shuffle was announced, since then we have funding confirmed, a disposal of assets in DRC that were bleeding the company, and what looks to be a better boardroom. the biggest obstacle of the kao mine coming into production has now come to fruition this month, and we are sitting at sub 10p!. ive done my research this morning and last night, and not going by the rumours but by actual facts, ive come to the conclusion that this is worth 30+ today. even with the minimal dilution of shares towards the new funding. got in this morning with 220k shares at just over 9p, and hope to see a three fold increase at the bare minimum, and before the end of 2011, seems to me to be the best value to resource / funded diamond mine in the juniors today.

Certainly valuations on AIM are only beginning to adjust back to reasonable levels now, and may yet be plunged into the abyss again by the Euro problem.

the journalist articles back in September had a hint of the same story in regards to gem / nad, and they sourced bankers as their information. but i can understand Jarvine objection if the rumour is indeed true, if the bid from GEM was around the 19 level, Jarvine would actually see the company worth much more, given the huge expenditure at KAO to get it to this production level, it would actually be better for NAD to avoid a offer, and stay on its course of new production. the share price will reflect KAO operation up and running and the increased production levels would be reportable in the first/second quarter of 2012, so for me, unless GEM are sensible with their bid offer, i would ignore it.

best regards

John

seems the L2 is ticking up??

If Jarvine paid the equivalent of - what was it, 19p? - for the recent shares, you'd expect better than that....

rumours in jse this morning that gem diamonds has tabled a bid for the company, which will be announced on thursday along with the year end results, nad directors have not confirmed if the bid is acceptable or not. discussions have been ongoing since beginning of october. BUT jarvine is opposed and is also considering a takeover. watch for a volume spike this afternoon as confirmation

we should hopefully see a RNS out soon to confirm this, it will give the share price a huge lift IMHO. although we also have year end accounts due on the 27/10/11, so hopefully some positive information to come. could be a good month, as September was a complete wash out

Well, in the absence of any announcement to the contrary, Kao should be commencing production any day now, according to the most recent info provided by the company.

RED IS IN - "....have practically paid to give the assets away in the form of a $300,000 loan to the buyer."

That's a profound assessment. What company do you run - the local latrines? Or do you just run TO them?

'Is it now' lol. No it would seem this poor excuse for a company have practically paid to give the assets away in the form of a $300,000 loan to the buyer. The announcement leaves room for the possibility this may not be repaid which is just as well as the assets are loss-making so its debatable whether they will have the ability to repay. There is an agreement that around £0.8m will be paid to NAD in a years' time (by end of Sept 2012) as the first installment of the acquisition cost with further £0.8m payments in the following 4 years (Sept 2013-2016) but again considering the loss-making assets these theoretical payments are questionable and probably the stuff of future litigation

a minimum payment of US$1.25m required in each year during this period.

but when is the first payment? Is it now, or is it just some time during the next year?

John,
Other than you I do not see many others not willing to consider points of view contrary to yours so I am unsure why you say "we are not interested".
All the best.

how nice to hear from you again! there is no need to challenge me to do anything, your challenge will drop on dead ears. im here to see current shareholders view points and research, not at all interested in what a shorter or basher of this stock has to say, I pretty much know what your views are already, just cannot understand why you are on a forum constantly spouting negativity if you are not a shareholder, it seems a whole lot of effort for no gain, if you are shorting the stock, then just let it ride, constantly banging on, is not really going to get the MM's interested IMHO. don't worry, ive tried it in the past on several occasions, and it don't work, all you end up doing is getting into constant arguments with the longs.

on the other hand, if you are a ex-shareholder, who wants to make sure everyone knows why you have lost money on this share, and have simply placed this company into his 'hate' folder, then i would suggest you simply move on and try and re-coup your losses on another share......you see, we are not interested!

best regards

John

But John,

What information have you come up with other than believing / repeating what the BoD let us know?
I challenge you to show that the K-Other will make NAD money or even cover the cost of mining & processing it.

Cheers.
