Pebble as the single most significant source of Rhenium in the world.
According to the updated mineral resource estimate,the Pebble deposit contains: 2.6 million kg of Rhenium.
Rhenium, the chemical element of atomic number 75, a rare silvery-white metal which occurs in trace amounts in ores of molybdenum and other metals.

The Pebble Project is located in southwest Alaska. Northern Dynasty is 100% owner of the Pebble Partnership, which is advancing the world-class Pebble deposit in Alaska towards permitting and development.

The Pebble deposit is one of the greatest stores of mineral wealth ever discovered, and the world’s largest undeveloped copper and gold resource. The Pebble Project’s tonnes, grade, metallurgy and geometry have the potential to support a modern, long-life mine.

The current resource estimate includes 6.5 billion tonnes in the measured and indicated categories containing 57 billion lb copper, 71 million oz gold, 3.4 billion lb molybdenum, 345 million oz silver and 2.6 milllion kg rhenium; and 4.5 billion tonnes in the inferred category, containing 25 billion lb copper, 36 million oz gold, 2.2 billion lb molybdenum, 170 million oz silver and 1.6 million kg rhenium. Palladium also occurs in the deposit.

-No feasibility study. No proven/probable mineral “ore” reserve.
-Concentrate refined in Asia/China. Metals retained in Asia.
~525m shares. Cash burn rate. Dilution coming.
-3 admins against. AK senators against. Majority of Alaskans against.
-Governor powerless. State law can’t be circumvented
-AK legislature approval required
-USACE 404 permit denied. Appeal decision 2023, maybe.
-EPA watershed withdrawal process proceeding
-3/5 companies walk. No jv/buyout interest.
-Not a mining company. No intention of being mine operator.
-No financing ability. No metals streaming.
-No “takings”; government compensation

I have researched the propaganda, political and commercial. The environmental issue is there, of course, but NAK have committed, by Contract, to mitigate any negative impact through further development of the mine.
