mmmm you cant buy these in any large amount so have to buy small amount on any sells, is this normally the case?

The next big drugs tie up is going to be VAL. Imminent RNS confirming a deal with one of the big Pharmas. RNS today letting holders know how many share options the directors have just been awarded. The next one will be the biggy! Broker talks of 30p+ initially on the latest drug test news that is due too.

Jim,
I know that the full patent award will not be until 2019.
I think the exact date is May 31st but I would have to double check on that.
A good explanation is given in the last presentation when Nigel says that the reason that no one had heard of N4 was because of the patent publication had been awaited and now that it had been published N4 were free to talk to partners and investors.

The reformulated patents shouldn't be a problem I guess. Nuvec has moved onto the 2nd stage so is going OK.

Any idea of time scales for getting fully patent? That would be a big win. At least, feels like it to me.

Jim, there is a defined process in patent protection before it is signed off but the most important part of that process is that the patent is lodged and published. Once that is done no other company can copy them without infringing on the patent even though the patent is technically pending.

OK. I am definitely not an expert on patents so need to understand something. N4p have agreements in place to exclusively license patents from OPAL and Queensland uni. What is the status of those patents? I have been assuming patent pending. Is that wrong?

PS.
One of the things making N4 a prime bid target is that everything they do is fully patented. If any company want to take advantage of N4`s tech, they have to buy them out to get access to their patents.

Jim, the difference is that they have signed a deal.
While N4 have no signed deal as yet, they do have a collaboration with one of the biggest pharma`s in the world that is likely to lead to a deal and they are just about to set off on a deal seeking mission to Japan paid for by the UK government.

The attraction of the Nuvec side of the business is that to develop medicines for this market costs 100's of millions. N4P don't get involved in that and will just (hopefully) license out Nuvec as a drug delivery mechanism for the pharmas / biotechs whose objective is to take a drug through the costly process. Yet, despite not having any of the expense, they can still negotiate milestones for any drug they license Nuvec out for and negotiate a royalty if the drug ever reaches the market.

I fully expect a bid to come in. What gives me comfort is that Nigel has a good idea of the value that can be created in N4 and would not sell it cheap.I think a price of about £200m would secure in in the near term but if it is allowed to build then it would be much more.
The price of N4 is stupid at the moment and I do not think the market or investors has the vision to see the wealth creation that is possible here.
The company I spoke of yesterday that rose 44% in one day because of signing just one nanoparticle deal is valued at £97 million and yet here we are with all the potential and big backers at the £20m mark.
Crazy but it is what it is.
Fully expect us to be multiples of where we are now in the near future.

I should add that I believe that the trial will be a complete success.
Given the amount of warrant money already in plus that which could flow in between now and April, I believe that Nigel will have sufficient capital to go it alone with the full trials giving them 10-12% royalties in a billions of dollars market.
That not only shows the quality of Nigel as a CEO but also the confidence in him by the main backers.

The viagra trials are ongoing. N4 had already notified the market that trials would start in January so no RNS was required.
Results will be by the end of April but in effect could be anytime during April, it just depends on how the tests go.

with a 1000 point drop one the dow, I could get a good change to add. I must admit i didnt thin we would get this low, so need to stick by my plans and add on the weakness, although my top ups the other day now look poorly timed - hey Ho.
