Yes I think there is little doubt it works as a drug. And as per the RNS the trials are also about measuring the concentration in blood over a period of time for fed and fasted. This is key scientific data required for regulatory discussions pre phase 3 as well as showing to potential partners it is really effective.

Maybe Jak, but they are not going to say officially ;-)A new drug has around a 4% chance of making it to market. A reformulation around 80-90% IIRC?

Nothing a sure thing on AIM, but good to see they are progressing well and there appears to be a good chance of success, he solution is simple but the manufacture for testing will need to be spot on.

Ok thanks for the responses. As far as clinical trials go I don't suppose they were too short of applicants. I wonder if they give them any assistance in getting it to wear off or if there are a dozen blokes walking round Derby knocking holes in cheap doors?

Yes, these are not complex mechanisms of action, so I would not expect poor results. These actions are used for other drugs, albeit not together. The beauty with N4s version is it's complex simplicity, pure genius

Don’t want to speculate but my guess is that they are confident it works. The question is whether or not it needs tweaking before it comes to market:

The data gathered from the Trial will enable the Company to establish whether its reformulation has been sufficiently successful to allow N4 Pharma to prepare for a pre-IND meeting with the FDA towards the end of this year or whether further amendments to the reformulation may be required to optimise efficacy.

The tab has a soluble outer coating (quick release component) which dissolves in the mouth before swallowing the inner core for the slow release. Nov prezzo gives full details.

Can someone with a better knowledge of clinical trials explain to me why they compare 100mg of Sildenafil against 50mg of viagra? Not a loaded question before anyone gets all uppity, just want to understand how the trial will be performed.
