Hidden at the end of today's RNS is"The awareness and regulation of PFAS continues to grow in the US. The Company expects the paid pilot trials completed in H1 will convert to contracts in H2 of this year. In the EOR market, two pilots will be operating in H1 along with active proposals with several EOR producers that could convert by year end with potential revenue impact in 2024 and 2025 depending on delivery."Good news. Especially the PFAS news. This appears to be later than expected as I think the trials were H1 (calendar) 2023 and orders were expected early 2024. Better late than never, but it might be an idea for them to be explicit about whether H1/H2 refers to calendar H1/H2 or financial H1/H2. Very different.

What a $billion dollar market opportunity. Just see the fines the polluters have been hit with in the states and the new case against Kimberly-Clark

Giant blow for tissue maker Kleenex as lawsuit accuses company of polluting entire Connecticut town with cancer-causing PFAS chemicals

You only have to look at their website to realise they do not understand communication, they should have a news section highlighting pfas news of which there is plenty. Cellincourt pr again a paid advisor, what do they do ? ....

They seem totally unaware of how to promote their company, they use / pay a broker that doesn't distribute its research to private investors. The natural investors in a company of this size are hnw yet they do not attend events such as mello! Like you I wonder if Connie is the problem.

What's not to like! Excellent deal and an earnout that requires no growth in revenue! They can now fund an extra pfas trials and this make them more attractive to a us acquirer. All imo dyor

It would be interesting to know by how much Admin expenses will reduce following the Saudi divestment

The financing issue was clearly a huge worry here, so with the asset sale maybe some breathing room gives investors a bit of confidence. Long way to go still but an interesting company

It has the contract to carry on supplying media and other materials. Would be interesting to know where the profit is in the Saudi business. The materials or the mgmt. But, it does help take away any political risks with being a small USA company working in Saudi.

Pleased to see the company divest its Saudi business so it can focus on delivering the big growth opportunity in the PFAS market. Will also remove market jitters now a placing won't be required

Trading update - Selling the family silver but deferred payments might reveal that some of was plated not solid.
Still much jam tomorrow in 2024 forecasts.
However a very thinly traded stock. If PI's who bought in on the September tip decide to bail out then could see a hefty markdown - However if they buy the 2024 projections and they are supported by the brokers note this morning (Canaccord) If they produce one then could be away to the races. Also to be covered by Paul in Stocko but no comment yet,
Waiting for opening.

It is the outcome of the current pfas trials they are in that is the game changer, if they can show they can completely remove pfas and be cheaper then this will be the chosen technology and they will licence this to the big advisers. They have a strong patent library and of course evidential experience in Australia. I am not sure any additional funding would help their case. All imo dyor

I agree. I think they are spread too thinly given the markets they are in. A strategic investor like SLB would be huge (though I suspect a complete takeover would be more likely).I would be happy for them, for example, to give up the oil side in order to throw more resources at the PFAS side - which is multi billion and worldwide. A small number of contracts have been awarded in the last few the USA for this, but so far MYX arent winning them. But the USA EPA site shows hundreds if not 1000's of contracts that will come up. It just takes a few years to process them. There has been a year end TU in recent years. But this has been in January, February or March (!) so impossible to predict.

I would imagine investors (what few investors there are left in small cap UK) are concerned about cash. They had $1.4m at the half year in June 23. Things must be a bit tight and a fundraise seems inevitable.

It's what's keeping me on the sidelines at the moment despite the obvious regulatory tailwind for their technology.

They announced one 6 weeks ago ! Clearly they need to tell their story more widely to potential investors. Most investors would not believe the opportunity they are sitting on and the legislative wind that is blowing in their favour. Their patent portfolio is very impressive and researching into this area would show little competition. All imo dyor
