trafalgar have now closed out their position??

is hopeless out there...im sure it was him who reported the RNS breaches to mkt surveillance...have you heard anything hopeless?..themore i think about it the more the 1p trade seems bizarre to me....and id love to find out who it was...i think we have a right to know surely?

so thats another 2.3mill for HBOS yesterday..and still lots of RNS gaps re the other transactions......hmmmm......i wonder.....presumably the MMs are exempt from announcing their transactions?...so i wonder if the MMs (or one in particular) are buying all these and sitting on them knowing that Montpelier will buy them off them...maybe its a way of Montpelier knowing theres stock there to be had without pushing them over the 30% limit??
maybe theyve asked an MM to hoard stock until a key date to get them out of the 12 month rule??..if they say bought stock last in June last year, maybe theyre trying to drag this out till after that date to avoid paying the higher price?.......mind you, it feels like it would be against the rules to do that...anyone know the rules applicable to MMs??...or whether a bidder can have an "arrangement" with an MM to hang onto stock for him without physically buying it yet??
mind you, that still wouldnt explain the lack of disclosure of whoever sold the 3.5million at 1p...coz whoever sold would surely have to declare..it wasnt an MM to MM transaction...anybody heard anything from that market surveillance unit??

now im getting really hacked off about missing RNSs:
for the other 7.5million 2 days ago
the original 3.5million at 1p on may 5th
..plus we should today have something on the 5million yesterday morning, as well as the gartmore 2milion chunk, and who bought the 4million plus that HBOS sold

Agree with you Seva,if we are in a bid situation,what on earth is the
price doing at around 3p?
Someone is trying to mop up shares in this company on the cheap.
If Montpelier,want it,they should be prepared to make an offer
a multiple of the current SP,my advice,sit tight and make em pay up!

The MM wants us to think that people are selling instead of buying.They want people to panic and sell their shares. They want stock at cheap because there is a big buyer in the background.MM behaviour is getting rediculious.

Funny you should mention this,I purchased 200K a week ago,100k has listed a buy
the other as a sell!
Try working that one out.
This is unforgivable in my opinion,and can lead to a truly distorted picture of the true volume of buy and sells.
There may be some agenda to panic mil PI's out of their holdingS,as there has been all kinds of messing with this share in the last few weeks,if this is the
story those responsible need locking up IMHO.

ur right that as well as overnight adding a big UK arm to their worldwide operations they obtain a listing by default, which could be a big part of their plan. I hope the institutions do sell them enough to trigger a takeover tho, coz im sure what theyll have to offer remaining shareholders will be way over current price...and i suppose if they can pick up 75% at around 3p, then even if they have to pay say 10p for the 25% left, theyll still have picked it up for about £6 mill total
