Our friends (and Little British Battler programme sponsors) at AIM-quoted technology focused merchant bank MXC Capital are certainly not letting the grass grow under their feet.

Just a few weeks after launching portfolio company 365Agile on AIM (see MXC mobilises 365 Agile with reverse-in IPO), they have just announced the acquisition of a stake up to 29% in London-based ‘big data analytics’ firm, Sagacity Solutions. MXC will inject £4.8m cash to acquire 19% of the equity, and other terms if effected will bring the maximum to 29%. Sagacity had revenues of £4.8m last year with £1.3m EBITDA. Right time, right place.

By the way, keep your eyes peeled for the announcement of the next Little British Battler event, nicknamed ‘The Magnificent Seventh’ (for obvious reasons), which will be held on Thursday 12th November. Details coming soon.
