02/1/2015 20:49 | For the Traders amongst you, early-mid March is usually a good time to take some profits, (all those who do their tax-returns and/or "bed and breakfast them" Anyway, some positive news would be welcome from the board. W. | wstirrup
02/1/2015 20:47 | As I suspected, the buyers will come in, in droves now that "potentially holding the bag", over the Xmas period is out of the way. The Xmas doldrums is always a good time to buy/top-up. I gave myself some nice Xmas presents. And already in profit... :¬)) But also remember the Chinese bought in at 5p (which is why they were so P.O'd) But it is so nice to be in at the right time, and right price... W. | wstirrup
02/1/2015 17:56 | Noticed Nickel is way way down at the moment, the price has tanked to 6600 today | apfindley
02/1/2015 15:25 | Thanks for reminding us you said there would be director buys before Christmas. Looks like you've been selling more pork pies. You're worth keeping off the filter for entertainment value but I wouldn't be logging on at 6am on New Year's Day to read your parrot chat. How sad was that post btw? lucky punter 1 Jan'15 - 06:08 - 6436 of 6457 | gwr7
02/1/2015 14:50 | It was not easy to buy for me today. My first buy. | kaos3
02/1/2015 14:29 | What's the betting they are filling a couple of chunky Director buys. Volume is low, liquidity is dire. They will have to go over the recent 2.75p to find many sellers and will find more at 3.75p. We need to get this BS behind us; this share price is just crazy. | lucky punter
02/1/2015 12:32 | Looking a bit healthier here now but volume is poor . As its a new year i have decided to unfilter all those i have been at odds with over the past year. We are all in it together even if our modus operandi varies Good luck all mwanars for 2o15 | juju44
02/1/2015 12:12 | Quite rightly there is interest in MWA; it must be the most undervalued share by any measure. Agreed we really need some additional value from Gold and Nickel prices to make it really appealing but even at current values MWA are making good profit. The added value of the work the company are doing now will reap rewards in the near term in the form of increased cash profit. I suspect the interest in Bindura within Zimbabwe is as a result of the bond. | lucky punter
02/1/2015 12:05 | Volume appears to be picking up over the last week or so. | casabella2
02/1/2015 12:05 | A surge in Nickel will help here.Looks to be forming a large 'W' in the long term. | bump3r
02/1/2015 11:59 | If we get large volume before a break of 4p then its game on. Thin volume will indicate more mm games. | mreasygoing
02/1/2015 11:51 | I will feel no less frustration at 4p than I do now. Both are way too low to make any sense. Hopefully 4p would see some volume and confidence return. | lucky punter
02/1/2015 11:48 | I wouldn't be surprised if we see a swift move to 4p soon. The weekly chart looks primed to move higher. | mreasygoing
02/1/2015 11:37 | Bindura up yet again today - come on mwana , start closing that gap | juju44
02/1/2015 09:06 | True but if Kalaa is a decent man he'll want to puke when Mugabe calls him that. | gwr7
02/1/2015 08:55 | Shows he has youth on his side | juju44
02/1/2015 08:52 | In theory funds have to invest but Zimbabwean legislation is fluid especially when the appropriate envelope is passed to the appropriate official. As for Mugabe calling Kalaa "my son" is that something we're supposed to be impressed by? | gwr7
02/1/2015 01:14 | Funds have to invest in these type of bonds so when Kalaa says he is confident of success I suspect it is well mapped out. Just a matter of time. | lucky punter
01/1/2015 23:45 | I think MWA is set for a much stronger 2015. The reasons why many of us have stated and agree upon. I have picked this as my choice on the 2015 doubler thread....so....one of my 'nap' bets if you like, for the year ahead. Good luck. | mg78
01/1/2015 22:24 | LP, I thought that some of the Zim assets were formerly Anglo-Gold Ashanti.. I seem to recall they got out circa 2002/3, back in the AFG days... Still, it would be a feather in KM's cap if he got some involvement by the majors in the DRC assets. Let's see... Here's hoping for a great 2015. W. | wstirrup
01/1/2015 20:20 | RRS are carrying out DD on a gold junior in NE DRC.(from their last results)I do think there is some traction in them farming into ZK.It would be such a catalyst for the share price too.Let's all enjoy the ride, but main priority at the moment is completing the bond. | bump3r
01/1/2015 15:45 | WS Interestingly this was the subject of conversation with Kalaa given the challenge from the Chinese. Kalaa is a son of the region; a real success story from DRC and well liked in Zimbabwe. Kalaa works well within the political circles capable of forming a Government; Mugabe calls him "my son". The Chinese are tolerated in Africa but not trusted; Zimbabwe would not be happy with a Chinese face running Bindura or Freda Rebecca. They are the worst employers and would not treat Zimbabweans well. Any acquisition of specific projects would have to have the approval of the Government as the mining/operating licences are with Mwana. It was clear that projects of National importance like these are well supported and guarded. I do think the 3m ozs in DRC will be subject to an approach. Randgold is the obvious choice then AngloGold Ashanti. speculating on value; MWA hold 80% and could retain 29%, match fund and received maybe $30m for the 51%. Obviously that would be a very positive deal for an asset with current zero or even negative value of this share price | lucky punter
01/1/2015 15:19 | LP, I feel if the PM prices maintain their upward trend, MWA would make a very nice acquisition for a major... Especially a Chinese one, as we all know how MUGABE feels about Anglo-American corporations. W. | wstirrup |
