11/12/2014 19:22 | I like him. Yes he is laid back but he is not just some PR spiv. The great thing about MWA is that the risk is priced in already - in spades - but the potential upside is massive. Does anyone seriously think this won't be double the price in a year's time? That's a pretty good return in my book! | caedwalla
11/12/2014 18:50 | Stay tuned for the next exciting episode. | gwr7
11/12/2014 18:48 | No problems. I read em all never filter anyone. | bigdazzler
11/12/2014 18:38 | Thanks for reading my posts bigboy. Although your attempt | mreasygoing
11/12/2014 18:05 | How much is the company bonfire worth before I pixxxxx on it? In all seriousness as you have completed a detailed reply I trade on technical analysis and what price is doing as opposed to fundamentals usually. As fundamentals is not my strong point. | bigdazzler
11/12/2014 18:03 | You undoubtedly make good points there Mr Stirrup and I think you are a genuine poster. The thing is, every time sentiment seems to be turning in favour of Mpinga the guy drops the ball. If the Chinese get their day in court it will be interesting to see how the laid back rambler handles cross examination. | gwr7
11/12/2014 17:36 | BD... How many PM miners with their own mill, 2 producing mines and refinery, a P/E of 1 do you know, with money in the bank and rising profits, more than 3million ounces of Gold in a 9Km trend, that only 20-30% has been explored (suggesting there may be as much as 7-10m /oz) and that you can buy the whole company for about $10-15m, when to replace said mill, refinery etc., would cost circa $750m... This is SO undervalued as to be on fire sale... All it takes is for recognition of these facts by the wider investing community for it to achieve fair value (and maybe Mugabe to go). Get promoting it, rather than pixxxxx on the bonfire. W. | wstirrup
11/12/2014 17:12 | Ever the optimist easygoing didn't you expect today's trading to recover most of yesterday's losses. Infact today's trading has just increased them. Still always tomorrow eh. Might have a look at the chart tonight if I get time. | bigdazzler
11/12/2014 16:18 | We should see a bounce here. It is very unlikely that it will revisit the lows. The uptrend from the lows last year remain intact so I would expect a reaction here. I'm not selling any as I have a feeling that the next time it tests 3p it will break through. | mreasygoing
11/12/2014 16:00 | Very poor. | jxman
11/12/2014 15:53 | H &S has completed now so hopefully we are seeing the bottom | juju44
11/12/2014 15:50 | An interesting observation from the excellent BIND.ZW results: In June 2014 Chinese authorities began an investigation at port of Qingdao after news broke out that traders were using fake receipts to get multiple loans secured against single cargoes of metal. The fraud has affected financing of metal deals in China and nickel is now being exported out of bonded warehouses in China into more secure London Metal Exchange (LME) warehouses. LME nickel stocks have thus been increasing on almost a daily basis, hitting record highs (currently 378kt). The increase in LME stocks has affected sentiment resulting in a softening of nickel prices. Some detail: In mining, efforts were focused on ensuring that the mobile fleet operates efficiently and effectively. To this end, additional equipment has been ordered while refurbishments and the rebuild of existing equipment continues to be undertaken. One drill rig arrived during the period under review and an additional two will arrive by December 2014 together with two dump trucks. This will assist the mining operation in achieving steady state production in the last quarter of the financial year. The processing plant is running well. The key focus is on optimizing its operations through a balance of recovery, magnesium oxide reduction and nickel throughput. The shaft re-deepening project is ongoing and is on target for completion in the second quarter of 2015. | lucky punter
11/12/2014 14:31 | Well, I just doubled up... I think the downside is mostly done, I'd guess after Xmas, the price will rebound, to the 2.5p level, and then as news provides upwards... - and a re-rating is long overdue. W. | wstirrup
11/12/2014 11:31 | Video interview with CEO Kalaa Mpinga Kalaa Mpinga, the chief executive of Mwana Africa (LON:MWA), talks to Proactive Investors about the Zimbabwe-based miner’s half-year numbers and what they mean for the group. | proactivest

11/12/2014 09:56 | sorry - double post | juju44
11/12/2014 09:56 | Gap is closed and it is back in buying territory . It could slide a little more but i am buying back some of yesterdays sale . | juju44
11/12/2014 09:05 | I am intrigued about the large cash flow into investing activities that dwarfs the other cash items (over all time periods). The corresponding item within the Assets seems to be a lot more smaller. Any insight please? | tightfist
11/12/2014 08:45 | Lucky punter, in your customary style you said many, many times that the smelter would be ready in the spring. If the bond raise is successful the finance won't be in place until late January and we know it's a 6-7 month job. So we knew it would be late July if all goes to plan. You're either stupid, gullible or...as I've said before your LSE name Tracylied is far more appropriate for you. | gwr7
10/12/2014 22:44 | I guess it depends how much people want in at these levels. I suspect we will see some positive Director buying over the next few days. The figures were certainly not bad; MWA are making a profit and there would have been many who planned to sell on news anyway. The only difference is that they probably sold at a quick loss rather than a quick profit. | lucky punter |
