Burberry smashed 52 week high and not flying up relentlessly. Matter of time before ethis follows suit.

Yup agree. China demand is huge it is there. This is just temporary noise . Mulberry is strong across the world and how much are the rich affected?

Also note how there is zero discounting in the website. Surely a very good sign.

Black Friday sales ahead of last year. Mulberry bags the must have bag apparently.
I was thinking just and thought why don’t they cancel the dividend and use it to do share buyback.

Let's face it as well. Even at 1200p they only need 500m what's LVMH worth? 350 billion! Also I love the idea it a mulberry bag with Burberry interior. That would be a hot seller

Agree although I think this is a bit like Man U. It's not valued normally and 2 very wealthy sellers . It's on its bottom share price wise. Great time to add. I bought more yesterday.

Burberry or LVMH is my thoughts as Mike Ashley wanted to buy it but didn’t offer enough. I think a reasonable offer would be around £8.50 based on the multiple Burberry are trading at and in either of those two hands it would thrive and make significantly more profit than it does today.

5.MulberryU.K.-based luxury brand Mulberry has long been of interest ever since the company took to hit after the collapse of House of Fraser in 2018. The brand is still considered to have strong sales potential outside the U.K., and their handbags are seen as a great entry-level luxury piece for those just starting their luxury handbag collections. Groups looking to add brands with strong accessories potential to their portfolios would jump at the chance to acquire Mulberry in a heartbeat.Recently published top 5 takeover targets in the fashion world!

I personally think both parties realise this is a tremendous company with a rich heritage. And it's worth a stack more than the current share price. I am sure at some point an offer will come and they will sell up but I think that will be well over 1000p

Yep it could. But they would have to agree a price between themselves and we would all get that price. It ain't gonna be 3 quid.

Greg, you may be overlooking one aspect -
It could be taken private by one or both large holders. May be a primary reason why the share price is not significantly higher.

Hopefully it gets some attention following the H1.

Yes but the value of their holding will be determined as well by external events ( Burberry takeover ) and other things like performance of the brand, and relative desirability. Many parties could buy both the large shareholders out... LVMH Burberry etc but you would think at many multiples of the current price.

Or they could take the first half of Burberry and the last half of Mulberry and call it Burberry
