Talking about long term how long term are people thinking as these floated what ? 18 years ago and have never been anywhere close to their original price and as each decade goes by, the intrinsic purchasing power of a Bank of England pound coin is practically halving !Frankly anyone whos had anything to do with a long term view here must be wondering if they are even going to have enough left from their long term losses to pay for the flowers at their funeral let alone a coffin !

EL AVIV, Israel, Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --

MTI Wireless Edge is pleased to report the certification of a patent for a wide band dual polarized flat panel antenna array.
This patent enables much higher bandwidth coverage in one antenna array thus covering many more frequency bands providing our customers greater flexibility and improved performance.

Dov Feiner, MTI's General Manager, commented, "We see this as an important milestone in our antenna offering - we invested in new technology on this development, we are implementing it in many frequencies for multiple antennas. We are happy it was recognized by the patent officers."
MTI Wireless Edge LTD. is exhibiting at MWC 2019 Hall 6 Booth 6J22 showcasing antennas based on this patent as well as our other recent innovations.

It's early days in understanding the impact of the combined businesses - hopefully, the efficiencies and synergies suggested will be realised.

Contract win is over 3 years. If it was just the old MWE I would be encouraged but just wonder about the merged business.

Hi spaceparallax,

I admit I don't think very much about short-term share price movements. Nothing you and I can do about the behaviour of MMs.

Nonetheless, buying back shares at below their intrinsic value increases value per share for those shareholders remaining. I believe that in the long run share prices reflect a company's economic value per share; therefore I'm in favour of buybacks at around this price and lower.

CJohn,

In a rational world it does make sense to buyback; however, the MMs are masters at manipulating affairs to suit themselves. Over recent years here we've seen grossly disproportionate share price erosion on the back of modest selling. My concern would be that we achieve little share price rise for substantial expenditure and that subsequently the MMs might walk the share price back down on smaller volumes of sales.

Share buy backs do t help businesses though.Money needs to be re invested into research or building war chest for acquisitions.

They could prudently use half their net cash at year end on buy backs - about 1.5m sterling. I'd be happy to see that. They continue to be cash generative.

I assume that the 25K block buys result from the recent RNS

They are over-prudent. At this price, they could be more ambitious.

At least, it's a declaration that management think the share price is manifestly below intrinsic value.

I find today's RNS rather mystifying - true that the share price is currently crazy, but what difference is the sweeping up of 750K shares going to make? Surely better to keep that money in the bank for internal investment or minor acquisition.

On the plus side it should stem the crazy dip in share price that has continued under drip-selling despite the fundamentals being solid.

Very solid results re-emphasizing the crazy PER given the equity per share figure.

Hopefully, we will one day return to a rational share price

Unexceptional 9 month results.

Heading towards 2p eps for the year. Gross debt reduced further; net cash position improved.

There shold be some savings to come from the merger. Remains to be seen how much.

Tax credit for research; they've benefited from that on a yearly basis.

The tax credit in the accounts fogs the real story. Just hoping the they make the sales.

Hi Sig,

this is not an infrequent occurence with small caps, which are thinly followed.

If there WEREN'T price anomalies, it would be impossible to make money on shares. (Markets are imperfectly efficient, fortunately.)

The current share price is a bargain; buy more if you aren't already heavily exposed.

It should be noted though that the merger has changed the financial characteristics of the company. Overall, it's more asset-light than before; hence support for the share rpice comes from rading rather than the tangible asset backing. This makes the share riskier, but also with mnore potential upside.

Sadly Sig, the penny share market is open to manipulation by brokers who exploit minor dealing activity to drive down the price.

In this case it's crazy when the company is performing solidly and winning exciting new contracts such as that recently announced in Mozambique.
