19/5/2020 09:02 | * NEW VIDEO. MTI Wireless Edge Ltd - Interview with CEO Moni Borovitz. | igoe104
18/5/2020 11:54 | Allenby Capital report "solid" Q1 results and retain their 46p target: "MTI Wireless Edge Ltd* (MWE.L, 36.5p/£32.1m) Q1 update: Solid start to FY20 (18.05.20) Allenby Capital comment: Today’s Q1 update indicates a solid start to FY20 at MTI Wireless Edge, the provider of communications and radio frequency solutions, with revenue +5% to $9.6m and EBIT +40% to $0.8m, reflecting gross margin improvement and operating leverage. Finance expenses were higher than usual given significant FX rate movements caused by COVID-19 and some of this has already reversed. Cash generation was good at $1.3m and Q1 net cash was $8.6m. MTI operates across multiple geographies and sectors and this has afforded some protection against COVID-19 as different countries have introduced/withdrawn restrictions, as evidenced by the recent Mottech customer wins in China. Management reports a good order book and sales pipeline across its three divisions and MTI is positioned to capitalise on three global trends: 5G adoption, climate change and increased defence spending. Although the outlook remains uncertain, forecasts and 46p/share fair value, equivalent to 13x FY21 EPS, remain unchanged." | rivaldo
18/5/2020 11:24 | Very solid results in difficult times with a decent outlook. What's not to like! | spaceparallax
18/5/2020 10:41 | Mottech looks to have a positive future. Irrigation Automation Market Worth $6.7 Billion by 2025. Irrigation Automation Market size is estimated to account for a value of USD 2.8 billion in 2020 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 18.5% from 2020 to reach a value of USD 6.7 billion by 2025. Factors such as increased mechanization and adoption of smart technologies for agricultural activities, government initiatives to promote water conservation, and the growing awareness among farmers about the benefits of adopting irrigation automation are the key drivers fueling the growth of the irrigation automation market. New product, service, and technology launch was the dominant strategies adopted by key players to capitalize on the strong market potential | igoe104
18/5/2020 08:48 | These certainly have a look of a company with multi-bag potential. | igoe104
18/5/2020 08:29 | Q1'20 results are out. They - and the outlook - are about as good as we could have hoped for imo in the current climate: - bullet-proof Balance Sheet, with $8.6m net cash (against a £32m m/cap) - terrific $1.3m cash generation in q1 - $0.67c EPS in Q1, up 4% on 2019 despite the pandemic. i.e 2.7c EPS annualised not allowing for any further resumption of growth during the rest of 2020 - COVID-19 accelerating development of 5G "in just weeks" - Mottech continuing to grow, particularly in China Overall, "our results and the order book supports our budget planning for 2020", which sounds pretty encouraging. It's worth noting that the Balance Sheet includes against that £32m m/cap: - $8.6m net cash - $3.2m excess debtors/receivables over account payables - $5.2m of property and other fixed assets | rivaldo
06/5/2020 15:39 | Noteworthy that 1.6m shares went through today at the 38p midprice in two 800k trades. | rivaldo
04/5/2020 11:02 | From Allenby Capital this morning: "MTI Wireless Edge Ltd* (MWE.L 38p/£33.4m) Contract wins: Orders in China (27.04.20) • MTI's Mottech Water Solutions subsidiary has secured an order totalling >$300k for a municipal landscape irrigation project in East China. Combined with other smaller orders, total orders of nearly $0.5m were received in China in April. • China has been a core market for Mottech and it opened a local subsidiary there in 2017. China has become Mottech's fastest growing market and management expects this to continue to be the case. • No change to current forecasts. Allenby Capital comment: Encouraging signs that China is reopening for business as COVID-19 related restrictions start to be removed. MTI continues to benefit from its diversified portfolio with demand for its products and services across multiple geographies and sectors. It is positioned to capitalise on three global trends: the adoption of 5G networks; climate change concerns driving water management; and increased defence spending. Forecasts and 46p/share fair value, equivalent to a 13x FY21 PER, remain unchanged." | rivaldo
30/4/2020 11:08 | Fair enough Riv | spaceparallax
29/4/2020 15:08 | Reovering nicely here. Spaceparallax, just to point out that Mottech already have a much more than a toe in the potentially huge Chinese market, more like an arm and a leg! For example, in May last year they won a $3m contract to an existing Chinese customer - and the CEO said to me when I met him that that was just for one district in one city over several years. MWE then stated: "We believe that China has the potential to become Mottech's biggest market over the coming years." | rivaldo
27/4/2020 19:06 | Modest Chinese contract wins, but perhaps a valuable toe in the door to massive potential. | spaceparallax
27/4/2020 09:59 | New Chinese irrigation contract win for Mottech - the $500k of total wins should mostly benefit this H1: "China has become Mottech's fastest growing market and we expect this to continue to be the case and in time become one of its largest markets." | rivaldo
20/4/2020 14:41 | Barclays finally credited my divi on Friday. I got the same rate as you zipstuck. Looks like a 20% or so deduction at first sight. | rivaldo
15/4/2020 21:15 | Anyone know what tax is withheld on this divi. I got 1.288p per share. I Like the 5g potential for MWE. | zipstuck
15/4/2020 13:19 | Received mine yesterday - it was a surprise as I have previously opted for scrip. Now, how do I manage to bank a chq?! | spaceparallax
14/4/2020 10:36 | Indeed - you'd expect the dividend to be received soon (depending on the efficiency of the receiving stockbroker!). Barclays haven't credited it yet this morning. | rivaldo
14/4/2020 09:20 | Are we expecting a dividend payment today, the payment date was supposed to be on 10/04, but that was a bank holiday, so surely it will be paid the next available non-holiday date ? | igoe104
09/4/2020 08:51 | Enouraging to see the price moving back up nicely, particularly as there haven't been any buybacks for over a month. | rivaldo
31/3/2020 11:57 | RNS - there's a confident gesture, with MWE stating they're one of the few companies around who are still going to pay their 2c dividend.... "Moni Borovitz, CEO, commented "In light of the current COVID-19 crisis, earlier this month the board reviewed its decision to pay a dividend and having considered the Company's strong balance sheet and the outlook for our industry, we decided that the dividend payment should proceed"." | rivaldo
30/3/2020 12:01 | Cheers CJ, I'm happy with MWE's outlook. | spaceparallax
30/3/2020 11:32 | spaceparallax 12 Mar '20 - 11:54 - 149 of 151 It would be better imho if the mkts were suspended until Covid 19 is largely addressed. Hello spacep, that might be a very long wait! And anybody needing to convert shares into cash in the meantime would not be in a good place. Regarding MWE, I'm still not back in, as there have been many sensational bargains in companies that have dropped much more steeply than MWE. MWE has a strong balance sheet and a diversified business. Holders should not be worried, in my view, by the current share price weakness. Good luck to all. PS Now on 18th day of lockdown here in northern Spain. | cjohn
27/3/2020 13:14 | added a few today, ill add more over the next few weeks if it stays at these silly levels. | igoe104
25/3/2020 11:20 | Bouncing back nicely. Evidently not much stock around as the price seems to be moving up after every buy. | rivaldo |
