30/3/2014 10:53 | Hi all, AGM was quiet - no other investors there so over in 10 mins. Was a gentleman from directorstalk who said that they'd post a short interview with Moni soon, so worth keeping an eye out for. However, Moni has been in the UK for the past few days presenting to loads of investors and funds, trying to raise the profile of the company. Managed to sneak along to one the presentations and the following key points were raised: As pointed out previously, Moni mentioned that MWE's antenna's, once in a customer's system were unlikely to change as then the customer would need to spend lots more time and effort retesting the whole system to make sure that everything was working as planned. Part of MWE's strength is having relationships with customers and already having their antenna's in the products. This is counter-acted by customers continual improvement on their systems, which requires MWE to keep updating its products. Radwin one of MWE's key customers, has been awarded an FBWA contract to upgrade the Moscow subway system. This should feed on to MWE's revs. With regards to the 80GHz antenna's, so far this year they've already received orders totalling the same amount as all of last year. RFID still in trials w/ major supermarket chain (this does seem to be taking a while, so I'd say not very positive but if they are still in trial then an order could come through ...) They are also currently in trials with a large international airport operator, whereby their antennas would track baggage, minimizing lost baggage or helping to locate its last position (and thereby minimizing replacement cost for airlines.) Also, the toll road comp that they partner with has started expanding into parking lots and MWE are hopeful of revenue growth from that. Elbit is the largest military customer. They are a private comp and deal with multiple governments (Israel is on a small portion, I think.) So if govts increase military spending then this section may do much better. Property prices have increased significantly in Israel since they purchased their property, and they haven't marked up their property to fair value, so that is a small source of potential additional value in the comp. Overall, & in response to CJohn's q, Moni is expecting flat revs in most of the business but significant growth in RFID and 80GHz sectors, but as they represent a currently small % of total revs, rev growth is likely to be 5 10%, which is shown in Allenby's research note. Most of this is from memory/my notes, so may contains errors. As always DYOR. Any further q's, pls post and will try to answer. | sladdjo
28/3/2014 11:30 | Sladdjo or anyone else that managed to go to the AGM Any feedback you can provide would be appreciated although I assume it was probably a quiet affair. Perhaps only official business and a chat? SJ | sailing john

21/3/2014 12:47 | Hi folks I spotted the breakout, thanks to a heads up from Sailing John, so bought in today at 13.5p. I realise I am a bit late to the party. Nevertheless, it still looks as if the story has only really just got going (i.e. broken out of the base pattern marked with a blue resistance/support line) when a long term MONTHLY CANDLES chart is taken into consideration. Hopefully a lot more to come therefore :-) | saucepan

20/3/2014 12:57 | They do mention strong market penetration in 2nd half of 2013 on the 60-80hz range. It sounds as though they have new customers but that those sales haven't come through yet. Perhaps part of the 6.5m backlog. Agree on RFID though. That sounds earlier in its development. MWE have high operational gearing. If revenues grow from here it will grow net profits very quickly. | gb904150
19/3/2014 13:16 | Hi Sladdjo, I'm sorry, I can't make it. If I was going, I'd put a rather sceptical point about growth. They say they see good prospects in RFID and the 60-80 GHZ range antennae. Ok, but RFID represents about 12% of turnover and from memory 60-80GHZ had sales in the year of about $1m ie about 7%. Growth in those two áreas would have to be very marked for there to be significant overall progress, Is there any update on the RFID antennae trials with the retailer Moni mentioned at the meeting we both attended? Thanks CJohn | cjohn
