22/3/2013 07:33 | Another large contract due for signing any day now should drive the share price to at least 15P and above. 20/3/2013 11:52 | Is that a mere hope, Brabazon? Even if this doubles from here, it'll be trading at about 3/4 of current assets. Scarcely expensive. To multi-bag, they'd have to do something like 2p eps minimum. | cjohn
19/3/2013 12:07 | News of another contract eminent? Couldn't sell 100 shares at the bid last week now brokers suddenly want to buy your share above 7p! No limit on numbers either! This could be the multibagger in waiting starting to move! | brabazon3
15/3/2013 10:48 | Hi Woodcutter, I'm glad my apology accepted. We're friends again. I should have put a smiley sign to show my friendly intent! I am bloody daft sometimes. Yes, we agree on VLX. Significant exceptionals every year going back as far as I could be bothered to look. Buffett talks about an insitutional imperative. Very diffcult to change company culture. Easier for new management to come in, make cuts, shut divisions. And stil they go on clocking up exceptionals. Mwe's contract win, in itself, doesn't make a huge difference: simply shows they were giving accurate hints about recovery at the military division. If they have one or two more, that would really alter the bottom line dramatically. Ah, Reuben Brabazon! Now I get it, Phil. 16p plus? Ouch! | cjohn
14/3/2013 10:15 | space some are considerably worse than others, mwe imv are at the worse end of the spectrum, but your sentiment is noted. I see FIF holding;0) WC | woodcutter
14/3/2013 09:46 | To be honest Woodie, we should be wary of virtually all BoDs - by and large they're peopled by greedy, grasping self-centred individuals. | spaceparallax
13/3/2013 21:58 | Thx CJ apology accepted. I don't mind it robust and occasionally sharp so i accept that maybe i was a bit sensitive. Anyway looks like you bought at a decent time and might make a few quid but be careful as you know i'm very wary of the BOD, don't get caught napping...........i think you're too shrewed for that. I see you looked at VLX, noticed you'd posted. Too many unknowns in the exceptionals at present and they appear too frequently too. But any further falls and it could look good value at around 50/60p. With eps forecast around 5p and a poor outlook statement at results it might be worth further investigation. Anyway good look with MWE, despite the recent rns i'll pass. WC | woodcutter
13/3/2013 17:32 | Have you guys seen Allenby's AIM divi research? MWE is one of their Super 12. | schoolboy1
13/3/2013 14:06 | There you've lost me, Phil. I am very slow. | cjohn
11/3/2013 17:15 | I read it as another contract with the Israeli military machine. | russman
11/3/2013 14:32 | Ruben was joking as well CJ :-) . | philo124
11/3/2013 13:21 | slg could make a good bolt on for mwe as they may decide to put themselves up for sale. | johnyee 7
11/3/2013 12:07 | CJ, i was joking. Nevertheless it's very good news. Don't forget the Divi. | philo124
11/3/2013 11:50 | Let's not get OVER-excited. All this was implicit in previous management staements, so it should come as no surprise to anyone who actually took the trouble to read them. These were on offer for several months at prices below 6p ie at a quarter of current assets! I was on occasions able to buy at the mid-price, so unloved were they - even once below. 6.6m orders booked already for this year. We should see a marked improvement in turnover, IF they carry on like this - which, in my view, is more than likely. Even if they didn't, you've got the ludicrously stong asset backing underpinning the price. Very small risk here, for potential large gains. | cjohn
11/3/2013 11:18 | I can't wait untill the US market opens! | philo124
11/3/2013 11:17 | We're on our way to my 67p breakeven point (having sold some at a loss)! | joan of arc
11/3/2013 10:27 | RNS Number : 5858Z MTI Wireless Edge Limited 11 March 2013 11 March 2013 MTI Wireless Edge Ltd ("MTI" or the "Company") US$2M CONTRACT WINS FOR MTI WIRELESS EDGE MTI Wireless Edge (AIM: MWE), the developer and manufacturer of sophisticated antennas and antenna systems, is pleased to announce that it has secured a major new military contract worth US$1.45m and a number of commercial orders which together total US$2m. This brings its total order book to US$7.5m - US$6.6m of which is credited to 2013. MTI CEO, Dov Feiner, commented: 'We are delighted with these orders especially the one from the military sector, which gives us confidence in the long term prospects of this segment, which we are well positioned to fulfil.' .................... "US$6.6m of which is credited to 2013." $6.6m is equal to more than the company's total market CAP of £4.19m and the share price hardly moves! Can't believe the share price hasn't jumped at least 100% on news like this! The traders must have missed it completely. Once it gets noticed it will rocket. Perhaps when the US markets open it will take off big time as the contracts are with the US military. | brabazon3
