Results were 17th November a couple of years ago (from memory), so could be a bit earlier.

10k at 166p this morning - a buy given the price is up? A good price if so.

Calm down johnrx99, you sound a bit overenthusiastic for this thread :o))

Another 6p rise every week till the results in a month will do me fine.

On PLUS someone's just bought 3k at 170p...the climb started a bit earlier last year, but on a historic P/E of only 11 there's plenty of room to mirror the same sort of rise as last year.

On 18p EPS this year a conservative P/E of 12 to reflect relative illiquidity would see MSI at 216p. With record order books at the finals in late June we can hope for a decent advance over last year's H1.

You sure OOS? Did you look at PLUS?

Quite a few trades again today - 5 buys including 3 on PLUS, around 10,500 shares in total. Demand is buiding nicely ahead of the interims.

An unusually active day yesterday - 40k shares traded per ADVFN and more on PLUS, with another 10k reported late just now. There were therefore 3 10k's reported yesterday including a T trade. Intriguing non?

Well, by MSI's standards it is :o))

I'm wondering whether that opening jump was due to share buybacks? They would be of sufficient size to not show up until end of day.

[EDIT] the 'real' online spread is 163.2 - 164.5. Only 1%, lowest I've ever seen it. Get it while you can?

The 5k buy this morning at 163p did the trick nicely.

Amazing spread on PLUS, 162p to 171p compared to 162p-165p on ADVFN. Does that suggest anything - a stock shortage?

Oops - up another 1p as I speak!

Will we ever see £2?

I was confident at the start of the year that we would, came close once but then retreated and stayed put, so we are stuck, as if we were a forgoten Xmas present from last year!! Hopefully someone will find us when they get the tree out, find this lost present and the price will rally with the excitment!!!

You never know!!!

Amazing how one minute the spread is 6p, then in a flash, it's 3p. Just curious - does anyone know if this kind of swing on spreads happens in the States?
