XD - yes, some nice bits there.

Going back to the posts the other week on golf ranges, and having looked at the links posted, I was struck by the apparent similarity in structure and fabrication of these and the forecourt canopies. I did then wonder if this was part of a move to diversify their forecourt manufacturing capabilities into a different market.

All good stuff either way.

Got a news alert today with more past coverage of MSI's £15m contract win. It makes good reading and of course underpins a large part of MSI's turnover for the next few years:

well it's never been a short term punt imo.

these go through long spells of inactivity then sudden surges in buying. The chart is still above where it was a fortnight ago and 10% re-traces are common enough in this on the past two years.

Historic PE of 11, great long term growth record.

Forward PE probably a lot lower than 11 and strip out the net cash of £5m the PE is even lower.

Way too cheap still imo.

I see Robbie Burns' target is 255p - looks like he's in MSI for the long-term, and FWIW I believe that has to be the correct way:



The price has actually stood up pretty well to post-results profit-taking, and it'll be interesting to see what happens with a bit more demand when MSI gets mentioned in the IC - from memory they've tipped MSI in the past so should do a decent follow-up.

I had a couple of companies reporting on the same day. MSI & Radstone Technology (RST). Of the 2, Msi's looked on paper the better of the pair. What happened? Msi drops and Rst climbs higher & higher. What do I know!!!

There seems to be a few smallcaps with recent results who have similarly seen profit taking rather than further expected gains. Just a small selection I've looked at but maybe a relection on people becoming more cautious after the May 'correction' and moving some profit into cash 'just in case'. Maybe an indication that market is moving to 'slow and cautious' mode for rest of summer rather than previous full bullishness.

buyers and sellers sidebar, seems that there's a good deal of both in the market for MSI imo. Buy volume is winning today too while sell price is winning - very mixed trading.

Think we'll settle around this level for a while where we were before the 'Burns rally' then move higher imo.

Seems to be a bit of a bull/bear push/pull here at the moment. Think the bulls will win through. Who knows, we might even get an AGM statement this year after this reaction :-)
