It looks like the 8% a year defence cuts in the USA are not actually cuts, but just moving the money to areas that Trump considers more important. There are 17 areas that are excluded from the money shift and that includes anti drone systems - which includes MSI 30mm kit. Personally I perceive it more as a refocus and fat cutting exercise which is probably needed. Looking (as I do) at the daily DoD contract awards there is a truly staggering amount of money spent on every aspect of US defence from clothing to the latest Anduril type technologies. I'd hope the cuts are made in the right places and I'd be surprised if anything CUAS is cut given drones are now front and centre of modern warfare. One to monitor. |

FT reports all defence companies, especially Rheinmetal the largest are jumping in price due to war dangers. We have a little wait for the final numbers but one or two good orders in the meantime will help. |

Looks like the drop today was prompted by the sale of 16,925 shares @ 892 reported late. The time of the trade is 11.07 when the market quote would have been 920-960.
