Presumably Dave, pension liabilities reduce over time, and the funding gap reduces as the markets improve and pension assets increase (hopefully!).
So the annual payment should follow an annual review, subject to audit, surely? Rather than fixed.

TigerDoes look decent and wish you good fortune here.I still don't like them treating their significant pension contribution as non underlying, from memory it's a fixed annual payment isnt it?. Deduct just that and you're virtually back to stat numbers and half the eps. Makes a massive difference but guess its an individual call as to whether or not you are comfortable with their adjustments.

500p based on those numbers with a further 40/50% upside should we hit those targets.

A well run company that i have a big stake in.

Back in again, hoping this is the start of momentum ahead of the results.Seem to remember someone telling me in the dim and distant that interest picks up around 3 weeks out from an event.I'm not expecting much more than we heard in the trading statement about 2023. What I am leaning on is the record order book they claimed and the expectation that this has raised performance in the first 2 months of 2024 and should continue through the year.I'm looking for £5 by mid year and £6+ by the year end.

Both your overweight positions have beautiful cup and handle formations (mcb on the 3yr graph and acrl on the 1yr graph) ... Suggesting strong technical upside potential.

MCB & ACRL, I'm very overweight.
KETL, GHH & ANG holding.
JET2 & JDW holding for results and momentum.
MRK is a growth share but may fall further over the next few months
Bought CARD on weakness and may repurchase MKS if it falls below 225
SYNT, MARS, SFOR, CRPR, PZC, CURY, SPEC, FSJ, COM, PRES, TRI, ZYT, XAR are all potential multibaggers but just watching at the moment.

Still decent volume levels Sooty. Think after this level of rise, there will be plenty of us watching and waiting for any weakness.Keeps rising though and I am still holding.
