04/2/2020 09:43 | Bought in today after scsw. Road to 425p before we can debate if it's fair value I think SCSW accelerated their monthly publication by a week for reach and mpac such was the value on offer | solooiler
03/2/2020 17:41 | Nice to get one right! Sure as I can be about this. This looks like a new push forward and results will only highlight it further. Nobody has missed the boat we are up 130 p but as much of not more to come. Tiger Ps DYOR I am a holder | castleford tiger
03/2/2020 17:29 | Good Call Tiger 310p Midprice! We'll have to start calling you Mystic Tiger :-) £4 short term target and £5 by the end of the year will be splendid. GLA CC | cravencottage
03/2/2020 17:25 | Congrats guys, looked at this and hesitated. | essentialinvestor
03/2/2020 17:11 | When are results? | tomv33
03/2/2020 17:10 | I hope today was a spike up and it'll drift back down again! I reduced my holding (which was high as a percentage of my portfolio) but would be very tempted back in ahead of results. | zimbtrader
03/2/2020 09:19 | 305 still way too cheap. Tiger | castleford tiger
02/2/2020 22:38 | Agreed CT, I reckon next year's profits will be comfortably higher than this year, it makes sense for next year to be more profitable given all the information we currently have. It will be very interesting to see the outlook forcast with the results in march, this could really be the catalyst for the share price to fly beyond 450p+ | tongostl
02/2/2020 22:32 | hxxps://m.soundcloud Found this pod cast which gives Mpac a mention. It's somewhere in the last 10 minutes or so. They liken Mpac to Games Workshop in the sense it's a turnaround company which has/is turning into a quality outfit, it's worth a listen | tongostl
02/2/2020 21:20 | Thank you and whilst the mix of sales in current year are forecast to be higher the profit is the same. This is due to the mix not being as good as last year. I don’t buy this theory. With a war chest of 20 m and Lambert bedding in there is a chance of a further bolt on being bought. Even with eps close to 40 p we should be 400 p plus. I remain of the opinion 500 will be reached this year giving 90% upside against very little down. I bought more last week and will keep adding Tiger Ps close Tom 310 | castleford tiger
02/2/2020 20:16 | Tiger It's a major 2 page feature covering the history of the business and the strategic plan under the new CEO Tony Steels in 2017 with the sale of the tobacco machinery business and move into full-line packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical, healthcare and F&B sectors. Highlights potential especially in service income which currently is 18% of sales.Margins higher than machinery at c.25% with scope to increase with the next generation of equipment with higher software element. Final section of feature on financials with Shore Capital forecast increase in pretax profit in FY19 from £1.4m to £7.5m (EPS of £37.2p) with ebit margin rising from 1.4% to 7.5%. Pretax profit/eps for FY2020 is £7.5m/33.6p but this could be beaten given MPAC ended Q4 with a strong order book and has cash of c£16m or 80p a share to do deals. SCSW comment that expects deal closures in a fragmented sector will accelerate with an arbitrage on the valuation as private businesses acquired achieve rerating in the public arena. Likens it to the strategy adopted by SDI and Judges which have delivered gains of 336% and 1051% since being recommended in SCSW. | mcjack
02/2/2020 18:06 | Just need a copynow | castleford tiger
02/2/2020 11:52 | At least it's not the Daily Mail which is pure spike up spike down stuff. SCSW definitely attracts a higher calibre of investor | pireric
02/2/2020 11:47 | Yep totally - just that tips tend to attract short term hot money who exit at the sign of any weakness | davr0s
02/2/2020 10:21 | Short term there's a 200% rise in the market cap from here. Long term the sky's the limit with more global growth and sector specific acquisitions. Mpac really is an outstanding company in so many ways. I'm surprised investors such as Keith Ashworth-lord have not invested, as this is right up his street (maybe it's too small a market cap given his funds recent growth), however its only a matter of time until more prominent investors are on board imo. | tongostl
01/2/2020 21:16 | Who knows. | red army
01/2/2020 20:16 | So spike up and back down then | davr0s
01/2/2020 19:49 | Tipped in tipped sheet. | red army
01/2/2020 19:39 | Why, what's happening or are you just guessing? | davr0s

27/1/2020 10:26 | Glad to see you eric! I am unai from twitter | arregius
27/1/2020 09:01 | Not surprising to see the. Stock sell off a bit today as whole market is jittery on Corona fears. I'm more sanguine about that risk to the wider market. Have added to my holding this morning | pireric
25/1/2020 17:06 | Imagine similar sort of timing | pireric
25/1/2020 15:09 | Does anyone know when the full results will be published? Last year it was 5th March. | richjp |
