Very positive interview regarding Nasdaq listing.

Cant believe the difference in the market caps with those companies already listed on the Nasdaq.

Roll on 2018.

Why has the ADVFN changed so that it is more awkward to click to find the amount of shares in issue for companies. Not just this one but any one, one click used to do it.

regandharry,

Nope, it's not a completely new antibiotic, it's an analogue of trimethoprim, which evades some resistance to trimethoprim in e.g. Staph aureus and is inherently more active than trimethoprim vs. Strep pneumoniae.

In gram negative bacteria, e.g. E. coli, there is complete, or near complete, cross resistance between trimethoprim and iclaprim--- both are compromised by the same plasmid mediated alternative dihydrofolate reductases. And, most of the concern re. animal to human transmission of resistant bacteria centres on gram-negatives

small crow...

Yes, but my point is, this is a completely new compound that has not been used before. So if it can be used in much smaller doses, or kills anti-biotic resistance bacteria and can be used in livestock then it should be able to reduce the use/doses of the more commonly used anti-biotics.

reg,

But it's another antibiotic, so how would that reduce the use of antibiotics?

Much has been made of the use of Iclaprim for Human use, but I wonder if there could also be a use in the livestock industry for this.

There are quite a few articles in the livestock magazines for the urgent need to reduce the use of anti-biotics particularly in cattle and pigs.

Would Iclaprim do the same job to kill bacteria in livestock and by doing so stop so much of the anti-biotics getting into the food we buy at the shops.

Many in the food supply say this is just as important, if not more so, than cutting down on the amount of anti-biotics we pick up from our GP's.

Glad I sold out wheat profit I had in here in 60's. This is a long game and most traders are fickle so best ti take a profit when you can.RNS talks about H2 2017. We r still in 2015 so a year and half by which time possible dilution (although I dont know exact cash position so dont take that as a deramp) and plenty of time to add and much lower levels. Chart is heading back down to retest 20p, where I first added. I expect in next 3 month we will be there....until then....Atb, duxy786

I received my Motif EIS3 certificate in the post yesterday (from the IPO) so that's a nice big refund coming from HMRC and I'm now locked in until April 2018 !
