For anyone who doesn't read the lse board, you might like to know that the 10m trades from last night are buys by Beetham.

Just in case you thought they were sells, as reported. Well, every trade is both, of course, but at least we know who bought these! He is almost up to his target of 50m.

ringer12, the banks are waiting to please themselves. Moni set out to be a lackey of the banks and thus they get treated with the contempt reserved for lackeys!

Perhaps all banks are waiting for Brexit to be sorted out before signing up to MOni's Finkit Lefrene!

Valuable assets? Even with Voucher codes they have never produced any figures to show how it is really doing, just typical vague statements.

Meanwhile where have all the Moni posters gone?

Just a little more patience,we know they are in negotiations on Finkit.

A contract with a major player and the shares will be back to 20p in no time,as the aha moment arrives.

We know they have a couple of years worth of cash left and very valuable assets which could get sold.

We still haven’t recovered from the first internet boom and bust. I still get fund managers today who tell me they lost their shirt then, but that was 20 years ago.

He was never good with figures, this article was 2014 making 94 the bust of the tech bubble according to lukies.

Thank you for that bit of info luxaeterna1. The concept of banking without banks must be worrying for an industry that has enjoyed a sense of entitlement to milking the general population for over a century.

Difficult field really.

Think of a super protected computer/server in a box as the opposite of Blockchain. Without blockchain, you have a central server that controls everything and needs high security levels. With blockchain everything is de-centralised - the data exists in a perfect replica on perhaps 5-10 different global PCs - very hard to simultaneously hack all 10 and you have several live backups.

Bitcoin - is basically just a different currency, albeit one that is linked to digital.

Blockchain and bitcoin complement the type of things Moni do. They could replace certain functions, although perhaps not the entire market. The future may increasingly look for banking without banks.

How does Fintech technology sit alongside Blockchain/Bitcoin?Does Bitcoin make it all this App. driven technology obsolete before it is even spawned?Sorry I'm a greenhorn as you can tell!!
