Posted at 10/10/2019 10:47 by justiceforthemany With key markets soon likely to trough, and with the share underperforming core peers by c20 p.p. year-to-date, we maintain our 12-month Buy rating. Despite the short-term headwinds, we think Mondi remains well positioned longer term with its low-cost asset base and growth investments supporting margins and returns.3Q EBITDA declined -9% QoQ to 383m (2Q: 423m) a -5% miss vs limited 405m cons. With 4Q outlook implying modestly lower QoQ EBITDA, we trim 2019 EBITDA c1%, but expect investor focus to be on 2020 earnings where we lower EBITDA c7% to 1,560m given softer macro/pricing. Our PT declines -7% to 19.00 (from 20.50). While Mondi likely to open lower, given recent under performance, we expect to see valuation support & would Buy on weakness. |

Posted at 11/10/2017 11:22 by enami Hi redips, impossible to say at the moment. A finish below 1900 would signal a much greater drop I think. With a yield of only 2.5% it may not be attractive for investors. The share price has doubled over the last 4 years and is up 16 times from the January 2008 low 118p so maybe folks will decide that is enough and sell out. Until they push out the final results in February it is not worth the risk to invest I think. |

Posted at 16/5/2014 08:12 by philanderer And looking like a repeat performance today :-S"..Investors are nervous after the eurozone recovery looks to have vanished - first quarter growth was just 0.2pc but Finland fell into recession, while output contracted by 1.4pc in Holland, 0.7pc in Portugal and 0.1pc in Italy. Posted at 16/3/2010 12:06 by enami Weekly chart Fib target 490, daily RSI is at 85.Today's RNS Mondi is pleased to announce that it has received long term corporate credit ratings of Baa3 from Moody's Investor Service and BB+ from Standard & Poor's. Both ratings having a stable outlook. |
Posted at 22/7/2009 07:07 by enami Tremendous up gap here, not sure what the RNS today means but "Mondi plc shares reclassified as domestic assets on JSE" must be good news I guess.Quote from the RNS Mondi Group has been advised by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) that the South African Minister of Finance has decided to reclassify the secondary listing of Mondi plc ordinary shares on the JSE Limited as domestic assets in the hands of South African investors. This changes the ruling made at the time of Mondi's demerger, and as detailed in the Prospectus dated 1 June 2007, which classified the secondary listing of Mondi plc ordinary shares on the JSE Limited as foreign assets in the hands of South African investors. The reclassification is effective immediately. All other conditions stipulated by the South African Ministry of Finance at the time of approval of the dual listed structure as set out in the Prospectus remain unchanged. |
