23/6/2004 09:31 | Prop up the price? Could this be nearing the end? I can't see an up-side. There's nothing I'm aware of that will make this company a leader again. Could be wrong. Price crash of shares supports my view however. Bully | bullishbuyer
23/6/2004 09:21 | And no doubt youve done a lot better financially out of it over the years than I ever stand to. My 'argument' (question) was why have they decided to buy their own stock at this price? | jules123
23/6/2004 08:59 | OK, so why do you think that a company with an erstwhile share price of £12 which gently slid down, down, down to £2 is about to reverse that process? Why, furthermore, do you think such a reversal would come when the competition for MSY business is even tougher than it was last year and the year before? Try asking ANY insurance broker what they know about MSY. I can promise you it won't be long before you find one who'll say MSY WAS the industry standard. Now it is more expensive (by a big margin) and less flexible than its two main competitors. It won't take long to find such a reply because it'll almost certainly come from the first broker you question. This share has made a lot of people a lot of money. On the way up (many years ago) it was staggering. But latterly, on the way down, we've been shorting the backside of it. If you are determined to buy into this, be careful. Bully | bullishbuyer

23/6/2004 07:56 | The information is there. If you're so bright, why don't you just find it for yourself instead of relying on a half wit like me? Frankly, I don't have the time, I need to go and find some dinosaur eggs. Bully | bullishbuyer
23/6/2004 07:27 | Go on then, educate me, Im feeling bright today, I might be able to grasp it. Why does a company buy back stock at a price which (in your opinion) is soon to look expensive? | jules123
22/6/2004 16:23 | Desperate men do desperate things. Find out how many shares Lomax and his mates have sold! Bully | bullishbuyer
22/6/2004 16:09 | so sweet and innocent.... | raggedbull
22/6/2004 11:20 | Wonder why MSY hoovered up so many of their own shares at around 2 quid when its gonna go so much cheaper? One would have assumed they know which way theyre heading as a company? | jules123
22/6/2004 08:07 | Oh Julie, you're so sweet. Bully xx | bullishbuyer
21/6/2004 15:40 | Nah, it's just plain common sense. Julie, knackers. Bully | bullishbuyer
