07/8/2012 14:15 | This is definitely lights out! Further to the Cancellation of Listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on 4th December 2008, we have received notification that the Aventine Resources (formally Minmet PLC) shares are no longer eligible to be held within the UK Settlement System. We have therefore removed the Aventine Resources shares from your account. | kretschmer

19/7/2012 07:20 | * In October 2007, Minmet plc agreed to terminate the contractual arrangements relating to Gold's Cuban oil exploration interests between Gold and Minmet leaving Gold free to pursue its plans without the involvement of Minmet. In a separate transaction, the Company disposed of its shares in Minmet to a third party for a consideration of £2,601,000. * On 11 August 2007, the Company disposed its equity interest in Ascent Resources plc for £101,850. * In May 2007, Gold Oil Caribbean Limited sold certain proprietary knowledge in relation to exploration in Cuba for £1,350,000 | ![]() andy
18/7/2012 19:22 | CS did you know that Minmet & Gold Oil were linked back in 2007. Another nice little earner for all directors as I remember. Naturally another fiasco for investors. | ![]() wanderlust
18/7/2012 19:17 | CS none of the thieving assoles are disqualified, but they should be. | ![]() wanderlust
18/7/2012 15:33 | Do you think the FSA should investigate then? Maybe also need to look at some of the other folks he has done business with over the years. Take a look at old VTB threads and you will find some of names I refer too. Out of interest you may want to contact - Also look at some of the names surrounding Izodia - one ended up in jail, and you will see certain names crop up in other companies - some as major shareholders - not board members but maybe holding large bonds. A real web spun by some. | ![]() clocktower
18/7/2012 15:01 | Thanks CT. BTW is he not disqualified? | cockney sparrow
18/7/2012 13:57 | CP - If you look at Mike Nevilles history (list of companies he has been involved with) and then look at threads on ADVFN associated with those companies you will start to understand what the man is about. | ![]() clocktower
18/7/2012 13:22 | Andy, Agreed! Hence my concern! I'm not clued up on the legal aspects of what's happening with MNT but is the case on going have the Director's been disqualified etc etc. Anything that you have that would block these people from Gold Oil would be very useful either on here or if you prefer email: My email address is trafalgar.sparrow@gm | cockney sparrow
18/7/2012 13:17 | CS, I would not see their arrival at GOO as positive at all! In fact I will break my self imposed rule and short it if they do arrive there! | ![]() andy
18/7/2012 13:14 | Andy, They aren't yet but it seems that someone wants them at Gold Oil Plc. Btw thanks for the articles. Kind regard Cs. | cockney sparrow

18/7/2012 12:51 | Thanks ClockTower. I ask specifically because the names Lesley Greyling and Mike Neville crossed my email this morning. Was Mike Neville involved in MNT? | cockney sparrow
18/7/2012 10:57 | CS - the best way imo to go about securing an investment where the directors seem to be acting against the minior stakeholders is first to file an order for disclosure of documents ( which you must offer to pay a reasonable sum for) then take whatever action maybe required in light of the information gained. In this case I would have asked for disclosure of all Mike Nevilles terms and condition and all records/documents relating to his pay off and re-instatement for starters. | ![]() clocktower
18/7/2012 10:47 | Can someone advise on the following (a legal question) If you could rewind back to when the problems started at MNT what would you have done legally to protect your position (investment)? | cockney sparrow
12/6/2012 08:03 | You can bet your life that the directors and/or their mates do though. | ![]() wanderlust

31/5/2012 15:50 | Hi I am a Norwegien Stockholder in MinMet (Aventine) Does anyone know what is happening in this company? Does MinMet have a stake in Cove energy? "Cove Energy was formed from the shell of an AIM-listed resources company called Lapp Platts, which was originally a nickel exploration firm that was spun out from Irish-based Minmet a decade ago."
