12/1/2006 15:26 | Willies - GEX's london brokers have increased the bid to 7.25p. And a major institution has just announced a sizeable increase in its holdings in GEX, see RNS. | ![]() bongo bwana

11/1/2006 14:40 | Welcome back then TC1. Ive been doing some preliminary figs on hypothetical scenarios involving all GEX's licenses in Mali and their potential for sale to Goldfields. Im coming up with a figure of 25p per share - but this is only on the basis of Komana being commercial - if it is and there are secondary deposits of mineralisation in the other license areas then the value to GEX could well exceed this figure. Remember GEX has stated that from now on it intends to stick to the knitting it knows best and that means leaving the work of constructing a mine etc up to whoever decides to buy. And GEX will be selling rather than buying a ticket.....to the gravy train. I just hope I have the iron head to stick it out. | ![]() bongo bwana
11/1/2006 14:29 | thanks for the info u 2. jacko...I think you may have got out of AFD a bit early.....I presume you got a profit out of it? will keep a somewhat closer eye on this now that there appears to be news due this month..I had basically given up on them..even took them off the monitor....which may have been an expensive "heat of the moment" move.... | ![]() thecynical1

11/1/2006 12:44 | Hi TC1, The next RNS cannot be soley about the drilling results, its has also got to deal with the issue of what GEX is going to do about the results, which I expect to be very exciting. Goldfields are in the picture too and may want a foothold on the Komana licence - perhaps by way of financing the next round of drilling. And there will be at least one more extensive round of drilling in Komana. So, Id expect that Hugh Mc is very busy right now getting a few details sorted. | ![]() bongo bwana
11/1/2006 12:31 | yes i'm in this not afd anymore. too suspicious of inside info at afd.. last rns of 12/12/05 stated> Full details of the drilling programme, the hole locations and the assay results will be given in due course when the remaining assays have been received and collated, expected in early January. Details will also be posted at that time on the Company's website at www.glencarmining.ie what is early jan? been a lot of buys over the last weeks. I am speculating on the news in the next rns not the timing of it though. that is above | jackohelp

10/1/2006 15:14 | Not to worry Jacko The time is fast approaching when MM's will pay you what you want for your GEX shares. | ![]() bongo bwana
10/1/2006 14:50 | 500k @7.25= Buy or sell, guesses on a postcard. This is where the sytem is wrong. the technology must be there to report properly but the desire to keep pi's in the dark is greater... | jackohelp
06/1/2006 19:44 | RNS is creeping closer. ;-) | ![]() liarspoker

05/1/2006 14:34 | I remember those prices 7767 and they are well within reach if GEX has a tiger by the tail at Komana. GEX will require funding to do a more extensive and intensive exploration programme there and to advance Ghana project also. I cant see existing shareholders or institutions having a prob with supporting a rights issue provided the pricing is favourablly balanced against the risks and we will have a representative picure of them with the next RNS. Goldfields are not out of the picture either and they may wish to have board representation on GEX. Now if GEX were,to say post RNS, issue the equivalent of 15-20% of its Issued Share Capital at a generous premium to the existing SP, to Goldfields then they would have the capital and someone on board to ensure they used it effeciently. I am keeping funds in reserve to support a rights issue if it arises. | ![]() bongo bwana
05/1/2006 13:58 | does anyone know if gex has the money to fund excavation or are they likely to hit us with a rights issue , hence the price hike. I may sound ignorant but I have only just discovered an old share cert from about 5 yrs ago all I can remember is that I paid 29p for them. | ![]() 7767
05/1/2006 13:46 | The next RNS has all sorts of possibilities. I understand that it was a very busy Xmas and New Year for the GEX board members. Goldfields as GEX's corporate partner in nearly all things Mali will have their finger on the Komana pulse and will not be reticent in ensuring that the prospectivity of Komana is firmly established. | ![]() bongo bwana
