19/12/2005 10:37 | Errr...that's what i meant. Force of habit when dealing in sterling all the time. | liarspoker
19/12/2005 10:35 | Liarspoker - get your facts right on this board. Davys projected medium target was 15.2cent - thats not £ OK! | bongo bwana
19/12/2005 09:56 | Hmmm...no trades showing. Either large delayed trades going through or the MM's are raising this hoping people will sell. | liarspoker
19/12/2005 09:37 | For information only, you can bung this in an ISA. | slj
19/12/2005 09:20 | Must have ticked up as I spoke or shortly thereafter. Buys still going through....... I see Davy's has a share price target of 15.2p, that could prove to be ( very ? )conservative when Komana has been exhausted imo. | liarspoker
19/12/2005 09:08 | Buys going through at full offer so might see another tick up soon. I wouldn't rule out 10p in January, especially of the results match those already found. | liarspoker
19/12/2005 08:59 | the buying has been relentless. there are still people wanting in at 7.25p so i'm hoping for 10p during the next 3-4 weeks. Could have a bit of a breather though or even profit taking reversal. I find this as difficult as when to buy!! | jackohelp
19/12/2005 08:53 | one can only guess at the moment ,i think 7p wont last long . lets wait and see . ginna | ginna117
19/12/2005 08:51 | jack....why not. You just have to wonder what the assays of the remaining wells will say. With a bit of luck we'll have another 'bonanza' find...... Wouldn't rule it out anyway. Holding tight till January ( the results ) at least. | liarspoker
19/12/2005 08:51 | anyone got any idea as where this share price might go to during the next 4 weeks? lets have a bit of speculation.... | jackohelp
19/12/2005 08:33 | on the march again...!!! | jackohelp
19/12/2005 07:36 | Thanks for that snippet Jacko. | bongo bwana
18/12/2005 20:50 | Minesite snippet: The week's best performer, by far, was veteran gold explorer Glencar (GEX) which more than doubled its value to close at 7p; the stock's highest price for several years. Glencar has been around since the 1980s though has proved to be rather better at finding mines than building and operating them the Wassa mine in Ghana is still a painful memory. Anyway, the company was able to report some quite spectacular gold grades from drilling at its new Komana West project in Mali. One hole hit 53.6 g/t over 19 metres, within which were two adjacent one metre intervals grading 340 g/t and 470 g/t. It is still early days for this project as so far assays have been received for only nine holes, but it would seem that the company is onto something. | jackohelp
18/12/2005 18:21 | any news in sunday papers? | keevo
17/12/2005 11:34 | The potential for positive newsflow between now and mid to late January 2006 is enormous. When the results of the current Komana West drilling programme have been interpreted it will provide GEX with a decent idea of what they have there but its probable that more drilling will be required to further advance their knowledge of the license area. Take that as a given and take it also that funds will be made available by institutions (hence immaterial dilution - but what the heck more institutions will be aboard) for the drilling. Of course Goldfields will have a 'first call' on Komana once their agreement with GEX is concluded. Goldfields may be even more anxious than GEX to prove up or disprove Komama's prospectivity and will provide the funds required. But in any event there is no knowing what Goldfields might do on the basis of the drilling results to be announced in January. At some stage takeover speculation may have its genesis at that point, or perhaps even earlier. For those who are not yet familiar with GEX check out their Ghanian interests also. Something pretty major brewing there ? Remember with the resources and backing of international mining conglomerate Goldfields GEX is going to start going places and will have priority access to drilling rigs, transport, infrastructure improvements, heavy weight political contacts, etc etc in Africa. The press, investment community and magazines have not awoken to Glencar yet. This represents an opportunity to accumulate while time and prioce remains on your side. | bongo bwana
16/12/2005 21:10 | very difficult to value sentiment. where does it end. when do you sell? Many exploration companies have these dramatic rises but i never time them right, apart from this,.... so far. | jackohelp
16/12/2005 21:02 | its been that way most of the week , im hoping to get more before it shoots past 10p . lets see what happens next week . ginna | ginna117
16/12/2005 20:56 | r u bovvered it not in top risers list..~!!! | jackohelp
16/12/2005 19:29 | GEX up 28.6 per cent today, not in top 30 risers, anyone know why. | mbugger
16/12/2005 19:23 | Check out "Adhesive1 on iii. Check out Glencarmining web site for all that info. | bongo bwana
16/12/2005 18:28 | Are they drilling in Asheba ? If so at what stage are they ? Should we expect an RNS soon ? Hard to find info on imo. | liarspoker
16/12/2005 17:33 | Will we hear about the option & GF agreement before X-mas ? Would be nice if we did....... Perhaps todays rise was due to leaked news regarding the option & agreement. Edit: As well as the mineral find a few days ago of course. | liarspoker
16/12/2005 17:29 | Thanks jack , thats cleared that up . ginna | ginna117 |
